That doesn't make sense as the money spent on hardware is never fully use like the tech demos and both console are the baseline for next gen so there shouldn't be anymore excuses that console gaming is holding pc back.
Or you know it could damage control for the constant flip flopping.
I thought CPU were unnecessary after a certain amount of cores,if you needed parallelism then use a gpu,though an APu with 7970 or comparable card sounds interesting.

@rgd because each console had a quirk that allowed it to perform something better than its competitor.
I'm glad you pointed out the time difference between the ps2 and og xbox and gcn(game cube),the ps2 was weak by comparison only because it realesed before its competitors.
@alpha Here's diggs knightcrawler for wonderbook,the ps eye 2 enhancement could be better fidelity with hand gesture/ motion,the ds4 touch pad and light bar could add to the experience when diggs is do detective work.
