No,I think the xbone biggest bottleneck is with the bandwidth.
You call them console gamers as consoles are far more comparable to each other than a pc will ever be,bf4 was sort of a rushed game on the ps4 and xbone.

@angel the ps2 comparison is not the same as the console was out for atleast 16 months,heck even the 360 to the ps3 isn't a valid comparison sense the 360 was out for a year,but the difference between xbone and ps4 was only weeks apart but Ms has all of the negatives,$100 more then the competition,ports not being the same in quality and negative press.
@king the ps4 gpu is based on a 2 year design but it's more in line tech wise with what AMD is offering.
Really? Excluding metro, crysis or the whicher 2, what games are you referring to,most were marginally better than drastically different.

@mcstorm You are looking at it in the wrong way,Sony had efficiency problems with the ps3 and corrected it with their next gen console,Ms was coming off the success of the 360,even if power wasn't the selling point but inclusion of kinect with an highly integrated OS,I assuming it wouldn't be difficult prioritize both casual and core aspect about gaming but their choice was to make the xbone a casual device that could do gaming instead of a gaming device with casual aspects.
@ darth which one? As I recall people liked resi 4 on the gc because it was fun and after the ps2 version came out looked better,you really can't use the ps1-2 as an example because they both were released befor any nintendo console excluding the ps3.

@mister dawg the original xbox came out 18 months after the ps2 so that doesnt count.
This is from gaf,it's an amalgamations of posts,they should name the xbox one the xbox 720,it fails to hit 1080p but the differences is 360.
From who?I didn't have to read the article to get how stupid it is,if the ps4 is struggling with this game at 1080p then the inverse must be true for the xbone and if that is the case this means the each console has to drop res to achieve a better frame rate which would make the situation the same,ps4 has better frame rate and resolution than xbone.
