@dark their back tracking is nothing like hardware failure where the component, materiel and manufacturing process may lead to failures,everything done so far by Ms was a conscience choice that leak beforehand ,people express how they feel and Ms never explained why this was good thing.

@rhino aren't you proving my point that the esram is there to offset the low bandwidth of ddr3 and its not like all the data is going to fit in 32MB of the esram because they wouldn't need the external 8GB of ram.

The 7GB thing wasn't a rumor,vgleaks document showed the ps4 with 4GB of ram and the os taking up 512MB ,when this was double people thought the os did same.
I don't see how that's back peddling ,vgleaks had Ms using 3GB of ram before this was told to the public and no reference of the ps4 requiring that much the os.
Business as usually,the relationship between epic and Ms seem more like a partnership then Ms and crytech.

@john the ps4 hasn't released any games yet so how can anyone compare and ps4 games will get far better utilization then comparable or better PC's.

Going by neogaf,he's talking about how gamestop kinda goes to the extremes to sell a use game,like if ask for a new copy they will suggest a $55 semi new copy,some of the gaffers were show how you could buy a new copy cheaper then the use version.

I was going by the first part of your comment about power,you make sound like it's irrelevant,my point being if the game is pushing something to the extreme then it does matter.
@pop PC's are fragmented in power so there is not point trying max out 780 when most don't have that or a balance configuration.
@mngamer the ps4 and bone 7BG to 5GB for games code,the wiiu only has 1GB for games.
@sidar have you seen digital foundry shadow of the colossus ps2 vs ps3 ? The ps3 has better frame rate,if the ps2 had the ps3 power then that game would've looked and play better.
