Sony removed bc so the ps3 was cheaper to make and geohot is partly behind why linux is not supported on the ps3.
That's a error, I meant not coming up with ideas that uses the tech best, thanks for catching the error.
@he'll it didn't because Sony focus was still core games with the ps3 and sprinkling move here and there, though they should've gotten more people to make move games.
The problem with motion gaming is, people coming up with ideas that make the best use of them, like having control schemes to enhance current games or coming out with new motion based genre, there's a couple of games out on pc that could work with move chivalry medieval warfare, the dark eye and among the sleep.
@soft of course, unlike kinect the move can be implemented in a variety of games and it works.
If what people are saying is true about the wiiu CPU just being a stronger gc CPU than Sony could get away with the slower clock because the architecture newer allowing to be more efficient.
@pixel the original planetside had like 600+ characters in mp.
@chocolate if I'm not mistaken volgin from msg is a character who had relation with both men & woman.
I did not know that,I think what might've hurt the potential sales is the price, while fun I believe fighters don't have enough to warrant a $60 price tag $40 would be a better price.
@decrypt you wouldn't have your ps2 plug up but the wires are compatible so it's not that big of a deal.
@mike 1 is impossible because different manufacturing processes or components may lead to faulty products,2 are you talking about online pass?that's there to recoup money from second hand sales, though they should have trial thing for mp after the games release,4,5devs choice,6 I assuming but if games are not flying of the shelves at $60,than a increase would not help,7 companies choice,8,hard to say as the transition from this gen to next should be easy unlike last gen,9,devs/ people cho...
That's not my point,I'm saying even with those are models still being purchased, their focus is the 3ds,wiiu and bring older games to the new consoles.
Their focus is the 3ds & wiiu, those other systems don't count as games are not going to be made any more.
Aren't you contradicting your self, and the same thing could be said for the ps3/vita,the vita didn't have a simultaneous release.
@iam his comment is to vague to really take much from and I thought rockstar are a company that try's to keep up coming products a secret.
If you spend more than 30 minutes on the toilet, you run the risk of developing blood clots.
@zero the reason I'm a fan of Sony is,they just don't rely on established franchises, that's why I personally think people articles like these are stupid because nintendo is doing more of the same,if graphics wasn't their main focus for the wiiu, you would think games & ones that used the tablet would the main focus,I'm talking about first party games.
<...
You have no idea what just said, thq problems stem from not being to adapt with market, because metro 2033 & crysis 1 would've ended both companies for not being all that successful.
@Bruno You're right but what I've been reading,Sony are suppose to use something called tsv(through silicon via) it allows the ram modules to be stacked, which provide space savings, power efficiency and higher bandwidth in comparison to standard DDR 3.
Excluding the people who don't like nintendo, there really wasn't any thing new, they been here longer try something new, there is nothing wrong pumping out older titles but this is a new console at least start fresh.
@grim If you are talking about performance, than you are right but architecturally that would be impossible on the gpu side and I think they couldn't have a multi chip module like the wiiu because the fabrication of those components would quite big if based of the same nanometers as the original ps360.
@lil In grim's defense, nintendo has shown the wiiu pad being played by it's self with games like a tablet and some functions that are tablet like.
