You can't really compare,the ps3 and wii came out one year after ther xbox 360,the wiiu came out because the wii sales were in decline and this gen lasted longer than expected,that's nintendeos fault for not having a plan just in case the wii flop or was successful.
@slavis their specification are not that unreasonable to make an assumption,that they could possibly be true,the vitas spec were rumored for awhile and broke a week before Sony unveiled it.
@strag I'm not a pc gamer but I've read stuff like,dx10 didn't really do much over dx9 tessellation was capable on ATI's 3800 series of GPU's,while better than console GPU's,they are not easier to program for,they'll be outdated in terms of performance but not architecture not including the wiiu.
Well the ps3 overall sales our alot closer than xbox 1 to ps2,so I guess that the "most powerful" thing is kind of a myth.
@bran I've heard people say that half a gig of gddr5 is equivalent to 1 gig of gddr3,though if there was an additional 512 MB of gddr5 than 4GB of that would be for games instead of 3.5GB.

Wow,this shows the crazy flow of making games,one wrought with difficult journeys but the silver lining of it all is,passionate people with creativity can flower on this killzone we call stagnation of Ideas in the game industry,the uncharted water shall be tested against creative thieves who pretend to wear halos but their links to the past are clouded by the haze of success,I wish nothing but the best for the game company.

You're make the wiiu gpu seem way better than the ps360,it is but not to the extent you think,going by various articles,its gpu architecture may or may not be based of the rv770 gpu that power the 4800 series gpu by amd and the CPU is not the strong when compared to the ps360.
@bic I remember some one saying if the wiiu gpu wasn't the rumored 4850 it was likely a 4770.

@effect it wouldn't be kinect as this leak makes it sound like two up res ps eye and the features you listed are already on the ps eye,by the sound of it this may be their way to allow communication with out the need of a headset.
@dread if the move was a copy,why didn't nintendo release that instead of the wiimote?only thing they have in common is,that they use gyros and achievements are just the evolution of high scores in the arcade days.

@zero they did if the game came out in 1999,they had mgs,parappa,spyro,tomb raider,crash,legend of dragoon,soul reaver,ff,tiny tank.I don't know ever ps1 game but they did have enough characters.
@zero there is a couple of problems with your statement,ssb came out in the late 90's,if Sony wanted this type of game it would've been there on the ps1 or ps2,and the other problem is,that people saw it as a direct copy instead of a take on a genre that is not use a lot,this is similar to the original cod and medal if honor.
