Microsoft tend to have a strong start but they can't keep at a steady pace and end up burning out before the race is over.
Sony start isn't strong as Microsoft but they pace themselves better.
Nintendo tend to be more of a wildcard. You never know what they might do.

Knowing MS they probably just pay for exclusive content or time exclusive content again. Zenimax wouldn't risk losing so much money by going exclusive.
The third party ports really wasn't going to help the WiiU to begin with. Most gamers really won't re-buy a game they already had for months. You have to make it worth it if you want them re-buy a game. Not only a lot of core Nintendo fans already have this mentality that if its not Nintendo they're not going to buy it anyway.
This generation Nintendo will have a tough time.

Exclusives really don't attract to kids like they do with teenagers and adults.

I believe Microsoft have seen the consequences of their ignorance. What they need to improve on is sending a clear message to its consumers. Honestly we shouldn't have to wait a week later to here "You only can get a free copy of FIFA14 with Xbox Day One editions."

The DMC franchise got ruin when DMC2 came out tbh. I do believe if Tameem had treated the fanbase better than the game might have sold more.

I honestly don't think we will see a big turn out. The tablet like design will definitely catch some kids eyes though. I still see a lot parents buying a iPad or android tablets even after this thing releases.
I think if Bethesda and enough third party developers had suggest Nintendo to make the WiiU stronger they honestly would've. Maybe not as strong as the X1 and PS4 but would've definitely be stronger than it is now.
