I'd be up for a remaster... I doubt we'll ever find out what actually happened with Kojima, though.
Don't read reviews from non metacritic listed blog sites then :)
Yes! I've always thought Dishonored was a bit of a Thief clone. Still a sweet game, though.
Yep, Postal and Manhunt probably the most notably in terms of sheer violence. I remember Manhunt causing a stir even to this day. It was ban where I come from and a friend of mine had to pirate a copy for us to play. Its actually pretty awesome...
I don't see hate. I see lamenting at Sony's marketing of the product. Stop being a fanboy.
For newcomers the Pro makes total sense.. Its $100 more for a superior product that will, eventually, result in a better gaming experience. But for now, I'm not interested in upgrading... Not until I have a 4K TV.
Absolutely agree. Probably the best Metal Gear game... it gets too much hate for Raiden taking over as the main protagonist but his character makes so much sense in the context of the game. It really should have been the final chapter of the Metal Gear series.
Hard to fault a company for wanting to make money... At the same time, you can kiss goodbye to the concept of video games as art when it comes to Nintendo. Its about rehashing those IPs and finding a platform that gets the most people out there spending money on them.
It's going to be a big 12 months for JRPGs. I'm confident they are going to be appreciated by a larger volume of western gamers after FFXV and Persona 5 get people talking.
They cost more because digital games can't undercut retail.. why would gamestop sell PS4's if Sony turned around and sold all their games for $20 less than they did.. it's in the article.
Yes. Spend 2 seconds learning how to use n4g.
I'm still unsure whether it's day 1 for me or wait for a trusted review. Hmm. Whatever people say about Hello Games being transparent, I'm still not 100% sure what the game play loop is...
The final moments if UC4 were spectacular from a narrative perspective. The writers did a superb job investing the player in a character (Sam) they'd only been introduced to.
Bloodborne, dark Souls 3, ratchet.. these are modern titles with solid gameplay.. though most of them arent really any different from prior versions of similar titles.. I'd cite Shadow of Mordor as a good example. Decent innovation in some of its systems.
Looks great. Finally a decent PS plus game.
Game of the show at E3 for the second year running imo. If I had a reserve it would be that the game looks as though its going to push narrative story telling, and while thats not a problem in itself, I just havent seen the quality of voice acting and convincing characters yet to pull me in. Love the world and the gameplay, don't get me wrong... just wondering if its going to match games like Uncharted for that level of presentation. Early days yet though....
Dude Zelda is not going to save the company. I agree it looks dope but Nintendo as a whole are pretty average.
You'd think this sort of a hybrid would have been done before but I cant think of one. Agree that indie games are almost like the trend setters now with new ideas.
Love anything Forza. I bought the first Xbox just to play the original Forza - such a good series. The physics are always so solid - arcade-like but still competitive at the same time. Can't wait!
Ultimately, it's all about the software. Nintendo need a good line up of games to support this thing or it will bomb.
