I think practice mode is actually in the pipeline. Something was accidentally released the other day... some sort of shooting mode. It was quickly taken down.
How are people here even arguing this? Of course linear games don't sell as well as MMORPGs like Destiny 2. Gamers are funny.... whinge whinge cry cry, but you all buy Destiny 2 and create this issue in the first place.
Oh, and just so you know: n4g represents about 1% of gamers. All the other people that aren't dorky enough to comment here just blindly buy whatever is popular. You can't stop the machine.

Decent read. I honestly love Fortnite because it's so different to PUBG. I've sort of grown used to its janky hitboxes and cartoony aesthetic... its definitely less of an investment to hop in and have a round or two. The building adds something to it, for sure. You have to make use of resources and make certain to mine at strategic times...
Nobody gives a flying fuck about xenoblade, lol. I get it, great game, great battle system.... but it isn't mainstream.

I do wish there was dialogue choice... I find some of Bayek's responses a little weird. "Hmm, I'll see if I can get an answer out of these taxmen" --> Kill the taxmen south of the Nile river. Wait, what?!!
Definitely stoked that Sucker Punch isn't doing a superhero game.
Stoked with the changes. There's a lot here to digest! Glad to see microtransactions are tasteful - ie, just cosmetic. Happy to drop a few bucks because this game has been awesome fun.
I'm sure PC will end up being the best gameplay experience, but the fact that PS4 has more content is a killer.

Don't be so ignorant and stupid. Of course if the game makes significant profit then the devs keep their jobs, thereby keeping food on the table. Man, it's so easy to forget that 90% of the idiots on this site and gamers in general are little children that have no idea about life or the world.
It is a shame, but millions of people are buying and enjoying their "BS lootbox / microtransaction driven nonsense". Not that that is what they're referring to anyway, their talking about a shared world MMO RPG like Destiny. They can't ignore the numbers... all the people crying online in forums like n4g are the minority. Most people want multiplayer shared experiences. I'm not one of them, but it's a fact we have to accept.
It's a solid game, for sure. Hopefully we do get more content to build on a good thing.
Personally, I prefer Fortnite over PUBG. The building and resource gathering changes things up... and I also kinda love the graphics. I hope they add a new mode where the storm contains zombies!
Super impressive numbers! PUBG wayy out ahead, but still.... this game is one to look out for. Personally, I like it more than PUBG because of the building.
I'd like it to be set somewhere else than Hyrule.
