The title is the only reason this has fired up, not the quality of the writing.
Firewatch was actually pretty decent, as was The Witness. The other games were just generic AAA titles imo.
Hoping the Last Guardian can challenge. Otherwise UC4 or Ratchet.. Year of the PlayStation :P

As an FF7 fan I appreciated Advent Children but I agree it didnt really feel like FF7. There has to be that slightly crazy Japanese comical element to it. Shoutout to the Tifa bitch slap scene also haha

Splatoon isnt a platformer.. nor is Pokemon.
I could go for more 3D platforming. It was definitely a nice break from all the shooters we've had recently. But yes the point is we need more variety. This is why I'm pumped for The Last Guardian.. something a bit different.

Ninja Gaiden is way harder than any Souls game imo. Basically any retro game is harder than modern games..
Actually does look pretty fun. I think people were a bit turned off when Crash Bandicoot turned out to just be a feature in Skylanders rather than a reboot. I'm glad this is on course to be a decent game in its own right.
