I thought the article stated they just registered them yesterday?

Why would MS wait mere weeks before their reveal to secure the domain names for it?

I doesnt matter if he was trying to win a $1000 Sony TV or a $100 Kinect. This man has issues for blowing $2600 on a carnival game LOL. I saw this on the news a few days ago.

It is nice to see that there are some big titles coming out for the "old" systems, even though the next gen consoles will be rolling out at around the same time. I dont foresee them getting as much love after the holiday season though.Out with the old,in with the new.

Yeah..I remember one where your character was "skiing" down a slope.Your character was a letter as was the obsticles you were avoiding lol.
I think there was others that were not games, but what I could best describe as "graphics" tricks on the screen.

I think "scenario" articles like this before E3 even drops are premature. Both MS and Sony will be showing games we know nothing about yet.We also dont know pricing of the systems or even launch dates. There just isnt enough info to go at this point to speculate. I dont even know which system I want in my living room this year yet LOL.

HaHa.I had a Coleco ADAM when I was a kid (our first computer).I remember the cassette drive. I wanted it because it was basically a Colecovision too. My dad picked it because everything was included (printer, etc). That was kind of a big deal then, as it seemed like EVERYTHING was a extra add on computer wise then. It never broke, but it became apparant pretty quickly we had bought somthing with weak support.Should have bought a Commodore.

They did have a magazine we subscribe...

LOL..I bought a coffee table version of that same item for my waiting room at work for 18 bucks. It looks nice, but is incredibly light.Like its made out of styrofoam light.Wouldnt dare try to rest my feet on it!

Yeah,I dont want anymore wires either. If its planning on being placed on a coffee table, I would think it would have to be wireless and rechargeable? I dont know about you,but I dont have any power outlets in the center of my living room.
I like the concept though.
EDIT: Article states its wireless. Not for power, but communication with the console.

Whats the problem with a subsidized price plan so long as its optional? Phone companies do it.Its a way for someone who doesnt have $500-$600 to get into a new console now.Does it cost more in the long run? Sure. The company is basically loaning you money. The money isnt in the $60-$120 more they get over a 2 year period anyway. Its the two year contract with good odds the contract holder will make additional purchases using the service. The long term goal would be most of those people enjoying...

Grand Theft Auto IV's intro was like a movie.Thought it was very well done.

I would sooner believe MS launches it before Sony rather than after. Giving the PS4 a Holiday season head start would be difficult for them to overcome later (unless they subsidized their hardware SEVERELY or somthing).

I liked the first game, but with these reviews I have a feeling it will be at a bargain bin price soon.Might get it then.

My eyebrow rose when I read that about the batteries too.Seems like nowdays, even your next toaster will be rechargeable LOL. I will say that the AA batteries outlasts my rechargeable one by a large margin.

I think of it more as art than somthing practical.
I have a few boxes in a closet that have alot of those systems in it LOL. Was that his point to build it out of a box? I didnt watch the video other than a minute or two.

Ive read a few more "casual" game articles here and there from places like Yahoo news (insert laughter here). Only clicked on them because like all of you I love video games,so a game related article often gets a click. Anyway..When I read one, it doesnt talk about the revealed PS4 specs, fears MS will be watching you with Kinect, or even that MS hasnt shown ANYTHING yet.Its just basic Sony and MS are due to have next gen consoles out by the Holidays. That being said,I dont feel MS h...

Its about a possible payment option for the console, not a requirement for all the consoles. Its really not much different from you applying for a Sony card (which requires a credit check) and buying a PS3 with it.You will pay more for it of course than paying cash, but you have it now as opposed to shelling out $300.00 at once. If these next gen consoles cost $500, a lower upfront cost option wouldnt be a bad idea for EITHER of them in my opinion.

A $1200 console would be cool no doubt. But you wouldnt sell nearly as many,it would be considered a DIRECT gaming PC competitor, the game prices would have to go up,and there would be far fewer of them. I'm sure im missing some other pitfalls of going that route.
Neo Geo had a console years ago that was really nice and cost alot of money.Only knew one person who owned one.

I personally wouldnt be interested in a cel phone contract like model where you pay less now/pay more down the road...But I can see it being a viable option to many. I dont see anything wrong with it provided im offered a choice.
EDIT I just looked up their current "$99.00 deal" and it isnt that bad. Its less than 50 bucks more over a 2 year period than buying a 299.00 console plus 2 years of LIVE at regular price.
