You dont move to a next generation.
Thats the point.....that you missed entirely.
Misleading title.
Shoddy journalism.
MGS franchise = dead.
Goodbye.
Creating 18 billion rooms to wander through and do the same stuff is no different from creating 1.
Seen one planet, seen em all.
Repetitive grind does not equal a big game.
Tum tee tum.....
Pokemon Go is the best marketing ploy in history.
They have literally found a way to move people wherever they want them to go just by telling thrm to move there.
Shops are paying a fortune to Nintendo to have pokemon appear outside their doors to get people to walk there.
Incredible marketing strategy.
No. Just No !!
Live streaming murders remote play.
Family account murders shareplay - every game is half price.
Backwards compatibility murders psnow.
MS have nailed all these points and do them all WAY better than Sony.
Sony are the ones who screwed up, especially with psnow, it is an absolute waste of money for the consumer.
Great game. That got boring. Waited for the dlc. Very thin on content. Traded it in.
It lasted well, only because my friends were playing with me.
As a single gamer, this game would not be worth buying.
Not even close to the most anticipated game ever.
A million miles away from that crown.
Good luck beating fh2 to completion.
Ive had the game day one and completed about 60% of all tracks in all championships.
You need to put some serious play time in to do them all.
Its not impossible, but will take many days play time.
There was a reason though.
Its to make the point who won the racing genre.
Whats wrong with that?
MS slaughtered Sony this gen with driving games.
Absolutely murdered them.
Sold out everywhere.
A ton of people already bought it, with another ton eagerly awaiting the 500gb version.
The need to jump from 1080p to 4k is very low for me. I dont plan on getting 4k any time soon.
Having 14ms input lag on my 1080p Sony Bravia is much more important than a resolution upgrade.
Especially since zero of my console games support 4k native.
PC players are smart enough to not buy any game.
.....which is why devs dont rush out to make PC games, and the PC has a stagnated gaming market with dodgy console ports.
"Biggest" isnt about how many times you can do the same thing.
"Biggest" is about how many different things there are to do.

How many ps4s do you have to buy before you get more than one decent exclusive?
Minecraft and overwatch dont sell themselves as "biggest game ever made".
Minecraft is a building game where you create stuff. Like digital lego.
Overwatch is a multiplayer fps.
They both have set goals and dont pretend to be anything else.
No mans sky is a copy paste job 18 quintillion times, and then boasts of being "the biggest game".
It isnt.
Its one corridoor...
I could build a game with one room that changed colours every 100 metres and at every 50 metre you had to collect a gem to open a door.
The room would be 10000000000000000000000 miles long and take 10000 years to walk through.
And yet......some people would claim it would be the biggest game ever.
You see people, having no story, and no set goals, is basically a pointless exercise in wasting time.
Add as much fluff as...
Yea. You dont move to a next generation.
The point being made is that "next gen" historically means new hardware, unable to play old games, and new games do not work on old hardware.
Being generationless means old games work on new hardware and new games work on old hardware.
New hardware will offer performance enhancements, but will not lock out old games, or lock in new games.
Hence.....there wont be a ne...
