No matter what PC elitists try to claim, the truth is PC gaming suffers from the same hiccups it has always suffered from.
The level of polish on the best console games is always a great experience.
Not so much on PC.

If what you say is true then it means that people are buying both the xb1 AND psve which still shows that the xb1 is selling like hotcakes.
To word it another way, if everybody was waiting for psvr or ps4 pro, then the xv2 wouldnt have money being thrown on it at all.

The fact MS arent focusing on doing well in Japan is exactly the reason why it is currently dominating the UK and US market.
They are putting full focus on what the UK and US core gamerbase want.
I like that since i live in the UK.
If i wanted a jrpg fest, ill buy a PS4.
I dont particularly enjoy jrpgs, not my thing.
Therefore the xb1 is the perfect console for me.
Theres nothing to stop people buying both consoles.

The xb1 is as powerful as a 2008 PC but in reality, the modern day PC doesnt perform a gazillion times better.
There are lots of reasons why. Shoddy console ports forever turning up on PC, devs who create for the lowest common denominator, coding to the metal for consoles which create super efficient graphics, seriously optimised operating sysytems on consoles vs super bloated Windows on PC. The list goes on......
Nice to see the PS4 Pro is catching up with 2009 technology.
I played 15 minutes of the demo and was unimpressed.
The pacing was wrong.
The character moves weirdly.
The auto lock on is silly.
The maps are too big.
Im sure its a great game when you get into it. Games REALLY need to grab you in 5 minutes flat these days or they are doomed. Theres so many free games and great exclusives available on the xb1 that anything in the middle has got no chance of competing unless it is extraordina...

Im going to go out on a limb and say the Nintendo brand is infinately bigger than the Playstation brand.
Nintendo has been around for tens of decades and sold infinately more hardware and software compared with Playstation.
Playstation is like a toddler vs Nintendo, which would be the great, great, great grandfather.

None of this lousy fov with psvr and ps2 like graphics that Sonys offering is giving.

PS4 VR is a waste of money.
Sales are nowhere near as high on PC than consoles for the same game.
PC games get pirated much more, which hurts console sales too (eg if you can pirate on PC and have both machines, why buy it on console?).
Thats why devs care less for PC development.
Unlike the Cloud, which was all claims, Azure (which the Cloud runs on), is the largest commercial network infrastructure on the planet and has been generating billions for MS for years.
There isnt a commercial platform in existence that is currently competing with it.
So yea, there is that.....
Both consoles "compete" with PC fir graphics.
The AVERAGE PC user has WORSE graphics than consoles.
And lets be honest here, only the BEST PC's trounce consoles for graphics, everything else is in the same ball park.
Sony wont be able to compete with the MS gaming ecosystem in a few years time.
MS Live on Azure ecosystem has too much research and billions spent on it for nearly anyone else to catch up now.
Sony will end up renting from MS for online infrastructure, just like many other companies.
And they will pay hefty royalties to do so.
I support the xbox one over the ps4 at PRESENT because MS is making excellent momentum and progress with superb games of late. And superb games is what i support.
