If it wasn't, they wouldn't be admitting it in their interviews. If Infinity Ward, Team Ninja, Insomniac, Konami, Square Enix, Midway, Sega etc can do it, so can EA. There's no excuses other than their lack of skill and dedication.
Other developers have done it. Look at Team Ninja with Ninja Gaiden. At times they have 15 enemies on screen at one time, all attacking you and acting realistic. If Team Ninja can do it, so can Ubisoft.
For the sake of casual gamers, I'll agree 12 guards at once taking you on one at a time is fine. However, there is absolutely no excuse for the enemies acting that dumb when you assassinate their friend 1 foot away right in front of them. In the video he does it twice and the da...
If 1UP gave it a 7.0, Gamespot is going to chew this game apart.
That is easily some of the worst AI I've ever seen in a game. It's just ridiculous. Such a shame on a high profile title. I'm still sold, but the AI is extremely disappointing. They can scale buildings and chase after you, but when you kill their buddy 1 foot away, they somehow didn't see it.
None of those are direct-feed, they're taken from a digital camera. It's from the same avsforum user who's been contributing them. That's why you see the flash-effects and weird colors.
Metal Gear Online ships with MGS4, Payton mentions this in the interview.
They way he talked about Halo 3's ending, it sounds like he's coming right out and saying snake will die :[
Just read this on Gamespot, they're blaming it on time constraints: "Guinchard explained to GameSpot that time constraints forced RedOctane to go with the dongle route on the PS3, but he hopes to eventually replace the controller with a dongle-free version after the holiday season." - http://www.gamespot.com/xbo...
PS3's Rocband is the same as GH3, wireless with the USB dongle. The 360 bundle is wired.
Rockband also has a USB dongle, but I know the 360 version bundle is wired.
Is the 360 Guitar fully wireless, or does it also use a USB dongle?
EMag, not EGM ;)
EGM has done some silly stuff, too, but this entire rumor has beat the horse to non-existence.
They blatantly stated it's for website hits. Konami and Sony have confirmed the game will remain exclusive to the PS3. Keep in mind Sony Pictures is doing the Metal Gear movie. I have no doubt Sony used that as their exclusive or bribe pay. Also, Kojima said this game needs Blu-ray - "But like I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware. It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD l...
But when I saw the hole, all I could think was "Falcoooon Punch!"
How in the hell would you charge the controller? They can't assume everyone has a PC to use.
Blue Dragon had 3 discs and there wasn't that many cutscenes. I'm sorry, but 4 discs for a title this generation is ridiculous. When is it too many discs? 5? 10? 20?
Someone roundhouse kick me in the face. Did I just read that correctly?
PLEASE be tomorrow.
Sony published the title, so it can't go anywhere without them saying so. It will never leave the PS platform.
Knights of the Round > Odin
It's a little too early to say that. We need more reviews. However, go watch the GT review video. The score is absolutely fitting for their AI work. It's abysmal.
