Yeah, AMD releases powerful stuff, but still that doesn't make the drivers any better. I went down AMD road twice, never again, always problems, stuttering, lag, blah blah blah...
Now I am happy and satisfied with Nvidia card.
To be more precise I am comparing Sapphire HD 7950 and Gigabyte GTX 770. HD 7950 couldn't run GTA IV at lowest settings w/o lags, I know the game is terribly optimized, but this shows how Nvidia is caring more about experience d...
I will go through the story at least twice and then start thinking about modding.
I've played through at least 2 times every GTA on home platforms since San Andreas. I'm pretty sure it won't end with this one.
@Hydrolex That makes me wonder if Rockstar purposly didn't release the PC version as many would choose it over console version for the graphics, and so that more players would be interested in buying console version + maybe the consoles at the cheap prices they go right now, selling even more copies.
And also games go for less on PC platform, but I'm not sure if the increased prices are not because of Sony and MS.
That would be a top class troll if it wouldn't be legit. Like top TOP class troll.
If this petition's only reason is "So that PC Gamers learn their lesson and stop stealing games", then they can shove it up their A$$Holes right away.
I'm sure Rockstar realizes that many of the PC games will be willing to pay for the game so that they can play it's Online Mode and the game has HUGE replay value (That's just obvious), especially with the Online Mode.
Have you played Ultimate Carnage? It's like Flatout 2 X2, everything is just twice as amazing.
I would have totally forgotten about Flat Out 3, if you hadn't mentioned it, it was a piece of SHIT.
I was not too impressed with Motorstorm, because I had played this game before. It's just so much better and feels real.
Trust me, it is. Flat Out Ultimate Carnage is one of the most satisfying games I have ever played in my life. Even after I had had TONS of fun with Flat Out 2, which is basically Ultimate Carnage with worse graphics, physics etc.
Definitely try it out, if you're intrigued by this, because there is a lot of stuff to do in that game.
Hey, can you please update me on what's up with consoles and BF4? I would really appreciate it. :)
True that, but it doesn't end there, there was this "prototype" grapnel boost in Arkham City, guess what, it's in Batman Arkham Origins.
But lets not be anal about this, this game is not going to get hurt by this at all, quite opposite, it only gains. But it's just a little weird, that's all. Creative developers would take this in mind, and could even in process make the game better and more interesting.
But You have to appreciate t...
@ My_Name_BTW_Is_Dante
The only way a game on console could look like PC on high settings IS if the game is developed with poor level of visual quality -OR- developers haven't made any graphical improvements to PC version over console version.
Actually i7 has about -2 to +10% performance increase in gaming, currently (Yes -2, I have seen the i7 perform worse than i5, i7 which is rated 0.2GHz higher than the i5, probably because hyper-threading is splitting the cores, even though it shouldn't, as the game isn't designed to use them, resulting in less performance), that could change, especially with the new consoles arriving with 8 cores.
i7 is not a bad choice at all, in performance for price ratio, it still...
Finally someone on these build your own PC articles realized that Intel's i5 and i7 processors have almost identical performance in gaming.
@Kennytaur I was playing my PS3 mainly on a PC monitor, which I am using right now as my PC monitor. I also played it on plasma TV.
I am very sensitive to change of frame-rates and stuttering. I can tell You that I am not either bluffing or imagining, or hallucinating.
It's like suddenly everything has changed, there were barely anyone complaining about 30fp/s on consoles, last time I checked.
30fp/s, if shown smoothly without frame drops...
Have you even tried each one? Consoles have some kind of frame smoothening or doubling technique, to make the game feel more smooth and more playable, also keep in mind that they are more efficiently getting rid of stuttering by optimizing the game to specific hardware standard.
And what would you know, telling 30 frames look like shit, all the movies are 30 frames per second or lower (24).
It is, you will get the nice graphics in trade of frame rate. With 30fp/s reserve you can put up graphics much much higher.
And for a racing game that is not aiming for realism it's enough.
On consoles 30FP/s is smooth as fuck, better 30FP/s with better graphics, than 60FP/s with lower graphics.
Same cannot be said for PC though, it doesn't smooth out frames as consoles, with 30FP/s it's very uncomfortable to play a game on PC.
What makes you say that? Because of this trailer?
Ubisoft released this trailer before this stream version / article was posted. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
GTA V for PC ;)
