I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to play a game like Batman Arkham Origins with that controller, the X,B,A,Y buttons are just not placed in comfortable position for games like that.
You won't be able to use movement joystick when pressing Y or X buttons on the controller
I actually like this game a lot more than any previous Batman games, it's just a lot more fun to have a large space to travel in and explore, the indoor level design is awesome, story is really interesting and execution is really great too. It feels familiar, but 3rd title with same mechanics is acceptable.
The combat is a little bit off, the goons tend to attack at times, where you are a milisecond from pressing the attack button after previous attack and you lose your c...
Perfect is an rare occasion in software world, especially if many different products depend on one version of software.
But if one of them is close to being perfect, it's Nvidia, there are some instances that there are glitches and crashes, but's it's inevitable, and IMO Nvidia has them much less.
I try to keep my mind open about AMD, the new GPU prices and performances seem like a really sweet deal, but I still have trust issues with AMD and the...
Nvidia knows better, they have very good drivers when a new game comes out and later they release drivers with improvements. With AMD there often are driver failures at launch for games...
I had AMD 7950 before, and now I am much happier with my GTX 770
New story, new experiences with Batman character.
I personally do not mind, yet. I think this is the last game with the same mechanics, that I could take, but it's still a great game and I still really enjoy it. Especially with maxed out settings on PC + Physx. It just looks so gorgeous.
Arkham City was like a stray cat, moving from one to the other villain, everything moved too fast, characters quickly lost their value.
It was a fun experience, no doubt, but Asylum just had more interesting and scary atmosphere, which I really liked.
I was playing the game all day, I totally loved it, It seemed too familiar, yes, the fighting mechanics have gotten so into my head, that I begin to see flaws in them and get bored while fighting.
But it still shouldn't have got a 6/10, it has great story, still fun to play, more things to do/explore. I'd give it 8.5/10 (or more, as I enjoyed the graphics and performance on PC), but one more game with the same core mechanics and I'm going to be sick of it.
No more infinite C4 madness. Good, it was quite annoying that support class players could just run up to tank blow it up, refill, go blow up the next one.
Kind of a kamikaze gameplay style, but they had machine guns to defend themselves, now with sniper and C4, they can't do much damage if they get caught.
I'd rather hope for more variety and detail put into a little bit smaller world, or at least make it feel truly deserted and fun to travel in.
I did appreciate the Just Cause 2 map size, it felt very epic to be in such and large world at first, but it lacked the detail to make the world give you various different experiences, it was rather just plain size matter, same looking things scattered all over a big territory.
Don't get me wrong, there was qui...
Yeah, but that virtual money doesn't make up the online launch failure.
GTA V for PC would :)
:D
When hasn't a R* game turned out to be amazing?
I am so proud of Rockstar, best developer organisation ever, they don't talk crap about their games, no media stunts. They just make games, and make them perfectly. Take interesting leaps and surprise us and entertain us all.
GTX 770 is an alternative for good performance, better drivers, although a bit more expensive than 7970, performance is better in most games.
But there are some games that do take advantage of the card, and get along fine with the drivers. But speaking of that, when I had 7950, I had some games that were running really badly on the card, with 770, runs like a charm.
Nvidia is more balanced and fluid experience, AMD is more of a hit or miss. I don't like t...
It's only if the game really uses 8 cores, which I doubt. But we'll see.
@KazHiraiFTW
I remember that Far Cry 3 had released recommended or ultra requirements that said to require i7 processor. But the performance against i5 and i7 with same clock speeds was almost identical.
I am more worried about the button layout (X,Y,B,A), the way they are placed. You have to use Y,X with the left thumb and B,A with the right thumb + they are not close to each other (like X to Y).
I have my right thumb always on the buttons and when needed, I switch to the joystick, but with this controller you also have to switch your left thumb to buttons, so in that short period of time you don't have control of the game movements, for FPS it's fine, but for drivin...
I've been dreaming of custom gaming OS for years, really. I never really understood why nobody hadn't raised it up before, it's a big and hard job, yes, but the benefits are phenomenal.
A BIG marketplace for PC games, better PC resource usage, MUCH less or none at all game pirating, graphics as high as how much you invest in the PC that you buy.
Of course it seems too good to be true, the optimization will never reach the console level, and at thi...
It's like S.W.A.T. 4, but much worse.
GTA IV was unplayable on 7950, The Amazing Spider-man was unplayable on 7950, and it never did get fixed... Assassins Creed 3 had bad frame rates and stuttering. Pretty much all the games had some amount of stuttering more or less, GTX770 has a lot less of that.
I had coil whine with my ATi card, which from what I have heard is rather typical, from what I have heard.
And many newly released games have problems with ATi cards, performance issues, glitches, and you hav...
Well, if Benchmarks is what you are after then AMD is your choice, but if you want actually play and enjoy the games Nvidia will take care of it.
I was so disappointed with ATi 7950, some games just ran like crap, new or older, but with 770 there are no problems anymore, everything seems perfect.
AMD puts so much effort in making their cards the fastest on the paper, but their driver support just kills off a large percentage of the potential performance, some...
To me AC3 wasn't disappointing, I liked it very, actually, the story could be better and main character more interesting with more clear intentions and less doubts, but it was very fun to play actually, it was something completely new for once, at least. Stealth was pretty bad though.
But I am very eager to play AC3:BF, it looks much more well done, and the main character seems cool.
