Only time it makes sense to me is for multi-player games where the lack of people (due to only reviewers having the game) would ruin the experience.
Doesn't apply to this game, so I don't get it.
It doesn't have to be hate or racism to be trash told. Saying everyone at the company should be fired... Is trash talk.
People who approve these things should be permanently stripped of that ability.
When you're even with your main rival one year and 4 years later they are doubling you... that isn't good. How hard is that to comprehend?
2 gens ago Sony dominated Microsoft.
Last gen Microsoft evened the playing field pretty much.
This gen they are getting slaughtered again.
It was only more expensive for the first 6 months or so. Then it was the same price for 6 months. Then just a year after release it became cheaper and has been ever since.
So, how did they do pretty well?
And I will say the opposite to you. Micro-transactions doesn't mean inflated grinding. There's no proof, so hold your complaints until there is.
Who said it would be a chore to play or there was poor pacing? There's been no proof.
Here's how I like to explain it. Let's take Witcher 3 for example. Arguably the greatest game of the generation, no one can really argue against that.
Let's say the game was the exact same, but you can buy mutagens or other hard to get materials. Does that all of a sudden make the game crappy? No it doesn't at all, it is a way for extremely laz...
Assassin's Creed Black Flag... tell me how microtransactions ruined it?
Well, at least someone else sees it the way I do. People keep saying the game will be a grind without the loot boxes, but no one's played it so they're just talking out their ass. Save your complaints until then.
Oh, so you played it already? Can you go ahead and release your full review?
They never denied it wasn't about money, clearly it is.
They're taking advantage of rich lazy people plain and simple. That is why it doesn't bother me. If it doesn't change the game for me, I'm fine with it. He says it won't. When the reviews come out we'll know whether he is telling the truth.
Like I said all along and you all can continue to disagree all you want. If the game plays like the first one progression wise and there isn't some new grind... no one has any room to complain. So, if he is telling the truth in this interview... that is exactly how it is going to be.
But you all will still whine and cry.
Yes, I am directly attacking you Xbox fan boys. I'm not denying that. You all are bragging about 4K in ridiculous ways.
My point is 4K doesn't mean anything if the game isn't designed for it. Contra NES could be re-released in 4K resolution, it will still look like a 30 year old game.
You can't just slap a high resolution on an old game and think it is something great.
What defense? I'm correcting all you morons. You're acting like this game is the best looking game out there all of a sudden. It isn't. 720p, 900p, 1080p, 2K, 4K, 8K doesn't mean anything if the graphics aren't great.
90% of you bragging about this probably don't even play the game.
90% of you that do play the game, probably don't even own a 4K TV.
When you guys have games that look better than anything on Playstat...
It is good news, but nothing to brag about. You all act like X1X now has the best looking fighting game ever or something.
LOL bragging about 4 year old games.
4K or not, it isn't the best looking fighter by any means, so what are you bragging about?
Anyone who buys an X1X is a hardcore Microsoft fan or a console graphic nut (we haven't actually even seen anything spectacular graphics wise, so that's questionable still).
Makes no sense to buy one over PS4 or Switch otherwise.
People are sick of shooters yet the biggest games out today are shooters..... good one. PUBG smashing steam records left and right.
The game just isn't very good compared to what is available.
Console games also cost 100s times more to develop.
It's a $20 indie, cut em some slack.
