Holy Christ, is this article a translation? I had to struggle to get through the horrendous writing/grammar in this one.
I haven't finished Skyrim's main quest yet, but this pretty much sums up most of the storytelling in the game.
What annoys me most, though, is the ridiculous number of glitches, and the occasional side-quest bug that results in a frozen objective and the agony of not being able to gain an item/XP due to poorly-written game code.
Despite this, while not perfect, the game is still a helluva lot of fun to play, and is definitely worth your time. As for t...
Why all the hate toward Crazyglues? I would love for this map pack to be true, but it's far too early to tell for sure, IMHO.
And about the BF:BC2 maps, yeah it would be badass to revisit Port Valdez, Arica Harbor, and Nelson Bay again in BF3's Frostbite 2 gloriness. Yet, as much as I loved BF:BC2, I REALLY hated most of the jungle maps. :-P
Yeah, Battlefield will always be Battlefield. That's the name of the game, isn't it? Yet, we've seen additions such as Rush, destructible environments, etc. that push the game a little bit further with each release. Rush, as a game mode, now rivals that of the original Conquest.
Of course, CoD implements a new game mode here and there, but many of them come off as novelties as opposed to game-changers, at least to me. I couldn't play "One in the Chamber&q...
Well-written, and a pretty fair judgment from the author of the article, but I can't help but say that we're beating a dead horse with this one...
I can see a lot of sense in your points here, like #1. Yeah, the old Frostbite engine, squad system, etc. worked really well, but there are tons of improvements between BF:BC2 and BF3 that make the overall game experience feel pretty advanced for its time. At the same time, there are quite a lot of little bugs here and there, which DOES remain a problem.
But, as far as #2 goes...whoa, what? This game is such a different beast than CoD it's like night and day to me. The on...
If there's anything wrong with BF3, it's the numerous glitches and shitty players. Other than that the game is awesome.
Most of the hardcore gamers I know say BF3 is the better game, and these are CoD diehards I'm talking about. How do I feel about the two? Well, I've logged 150 hours in BF3 since launch day, and the count is still increasing. I played MW3 occasionally for 4 days before sending it back to GameFly. 'Nuff said.
Anyways, the ...
WOW. That was sick! Definitely hope to see more vids from this dude! REALLY well put-together, and the music made the video!
This game is PACKED with moments that make you say, "Holy shit, AWESOME!" Makes me want to play right now! Hahaha
...would be freakin AWESOME! A new MechAssault game has been due for far too long now. Honestly, it's been so long, I almost completely forgot the game once even existed!
FUUUU- I want to play MechAssault now.
Ok, first off, don't sit here, act like an asshat, and call my input "stupid" just because you failed to understand the point I was trying to make, and completely failed at making any sense in YOUR point whatsoever.
Second, I was implying that there should be an added incentive to buying new, like getting the Limited Edition and being handed Back to Karkand for free, NOT just the inclusion of an online pass. Again, you fail to see my point. And no, they won'...
But for every used car bought is another new car that potentially wasn't sold. The gas tank is just an example of not being able to use something to it's fullest capability just because you didn't buy it new. This is why the online pass was implemented in the first place: used game sales are hurting new game sales in the long run. Did you even think about the point I was making while you were reading it, or were you just trying to find a way to make some nonsense rebuttal?
...
The online pass stuff is seriously bullshit. When you buy a used car from someone, do you have to pay the auto maker extra money just to use the other half of the gas tank? It's fucking ridiculous, but I highly doubt it's going to get better in today's economy of money-hungry corporations. In fact, it's probably only going to get worse.
As if EA needs the extra money from the shitloads of cash they pull in from their sports games alone. I wonder what kind of h...
Did the author ever take note that this game is intended to take place in a Midieval timeframe where having multiple sexual partners was frowned upon? But let's not mention all the robbing, killing, and other generally destructive/immoral behavior that you can commit in the game, eh?
On a side note, IMHO, values and respect have long since diminished from our society. You can blame it on what you want it. Yet, the way I see it, anyone, man or woman, that takes it upon the...
How about a Call of Duty game that doesn't fall in line with its predecessors. It's been a downward spiral since MW2. Instead of recycling old shit, put some new innovations (no, I'm not talking new perks here, I mean INNOVATIONS) into this damn franchise before it becomes more of a laughing stock than it already is.
I don't care how many new perks, hybrid scopes, or multiplayer game modes you can pack into MW3, the game is still broken, as the franchise has b...
HAH!!!
That wasn't funny. I was actually interested in reading some intellectual article...and then it dawned on me that this is an absurd attempt at hilarity by 1UP.
The only thing funny about this article is the fact that it failed at being funny.
I'd definitely like to see the return of Arica Harbor and Port Valdez thrown into a map pack with a couple brand new maps. I played BF:BC2 religiously with friends from release up until BF3 came out, and those maps were squad favorites! :-D
But who misses Nelson Bay and Harvest Day? Those maps were almost as awesome as Valdez and Arica.
OR instead of deleting EVERY game's update, you could just go into Skyrim's actual save filepath and find the update file. -__-
MS isn't cheating anyone here, your subscription just defaults to $9.99 a month after you redeem a free month. You can cancel beforehand, or pay the $60 for a year. It's common sense. -__-
I've already unlocked all the Co-Op weapons through the extreme amount of labor it takes to do so (LMFAO), so I couldn't say. Yet, I DID notice that all the B2K weapons come with the 12x Ballistic scope unlocked automatically! O_o
The B2K pack is AWESOME, yet, the patch didn't really fix the squads, and now there are a number of NEW bugs, such as the background in the main menu disappearing and showing all black behind the selections. WTF.
I don't pay for Xbox Live just to play online, I also pay for the smoothness and reliability of the service. I've been a member of Xbox Live for 9 years now, and while I DO detest the increase from $50 to $60 annually, I CAN say that it's but a small fee for the quality of service you get.
To justify, I also have a PS3 and have experienced what it has to offer. While it works and does what it's intended, you really do get what you pay for here. The interruptio...
