It's terribly unfortunate news to hear about anyone getting laid off, no matter their line of work...
However, it IS good to see all these teams joining forces in attempt to get these developers some jobs. It appears there's still some faith left in humanity...
Activision and Bungie don't even belong in the same sentence...
Looking forward to seeing what Bungie's been working on.
NOT looking forward to the Activision hype-train milking-machine dollar-snatching.
It appears the LeapMotion can do it much more accurately, though, and without the input lag of the Kinect. Apparently, it can track movements down to 1/100th of a millimeter, and does it all without a camera.
This tiny little box creates a space of 8 cubic feet to be used for control. Imagine if they made a bigger one that uses your whole living room, all with the acuracy of 1/100th of a millimeter.
A lot more accurate than a Kinect, eh? :-D I'm not hatin...
I'll only go as far into the Kinect features and toying around with Gunsmith for a few minutes. Camera motion-sensing tech just isn't up to par with everything else.
Check this out, though. I have a feeling this technology will be hitting consoles in the next few years:

It's some sort of cameraless motion sensing tech for home computers that launches this wi...
One of the reasons I hate video reviews. They never seem to cover as much as the written ones. Plus, I can read three pages of text a lot faster than I can watch a half-assed 5 minute video review...
Poor journalism usually results in a quick video review that doesn't cover all of its bases. This site should have at least included a written version of the video...
Take a look at MP1st's review posted here on N4G. It's pretty good. Doesn't cove...
Your tits,
Calm them.
Pretty solid review. Looking forward to playing it this afternoon!
Don't feed the troll...
Holy hell, was this article written in some sort of code that resembles English? Yikes...
Not trying to hate, but this article is terribly translated. This is basically a jumble of words with a number out of 10 in a box on the side...
I've already preordered from Amazon, but I'm waiting until a more credible source puts out a review...
While BF3 has a long list of bugs in post-patch final retail, nearly all of those Battlefield 3 bugs were in the beta, not the full game. Fail.

Did everyone forget The Suffering on Xbox way back in the day? No, not the second one, the original.
That game was scarier than shit. Although I do agree that Amnesia has everything beat!
Holy hell, that's a lot of content. Looks like my Battlefield 3 disc is gonna stay spinning for a damn long while (not that it wasn't before this announcement)!
I'm hoping they bring back a few of the BFBC2 maps... Arica Harbor and Port Valdez, anyone? :-D
I'm not even a CoD fan anymore, and I can still say that CoD4 was an amazing game. The original Bad Company was just as great of a game, but had a number of flaws that kept it from becoming more successful. I feel that Bad Company 2 blew the original Bad Company out of the water, though.
I see your point, as Bad Company implemented some awesome innovations, like extreme levels of destructability. However, despite my preference for Battlefield, I feel that BFBC wasn't ...
Good point!
...calm them.
I played Black Ops for a month, traded it in, and continued to play Bad Company 2 for well past a year until the day Battlefield 3 released.
I played MW3 for 4 days and sent it back to Gamefly, then put BF3 back into my system, which I've continued to play since release.
See the trend?
I don't care how many copies MW3 has sold, BF3, even with all its flaws, STILL blows it out of the water. Same goes for the rest of the Battlefield ser...
I had no clue that expressing a legitimate and fair opinion on something was classified as trolling...
The thing is, in order to formulate a fair opinion on ANYTHING, you need to experience it firsthand. This is why I rent the CoD titles instead of buying them. It would be ignorant of me to state that these games are good or bad without having played them myself.
I understand where you're coming from with the "stop playing and wait until you hear the...
A-fuckin-men.
Former diehard CoD fan here to say that I stopped buying Call of Duty titles after MW2. CoD4 is the best in the series, and it's been a downward spiral since MW2 launched. I've rented the later titles, but bought the first Black Ops on a whim. It was a step in the right direction and was way better than MW2, but MW3 is a damn joke.
I beat the campaign in less and 5 hours and played MP long enough to be done with the game after 3 days. Th...
The pics aren't much, but they're something...
In regards to the video, I HIGHLY suggest you hit the mute button before you hit the play button. The audio is horrendous. -__-
