The longer used games are pushed the more we are heading to full DRM... That is obvious, right now DRM is a bad word.... But soon it will be a necessity. And that is driven by the consumer....

In other words, they tried to dominate the market, force products onto you that you did not need (UMD). Only business's they have left worth mentioning are Video games, since 1994, and Movies. Also, they forced the Cell processor on the video games industry too, hence why games rarely looked better, as most developers hated it. But, publishers do not pirate. Consumers of the piracy sort will always find a way to not pay. That has been a fact in video games since the dawn of re writable media.
