I can live without brilliant graphics, sounds, etc. I only care about gameplay, and for a long long time, Pro Evo was all about great gameplay. But the last few games they felt the need to include some kind of 'rubberbanding' and 'fixing' to make the game more 'exciting' or whatever, and it's just frustrating and no more fun.
I chose Fifa09 over PES last winter, and I'm quite satis...
... but after the game, you had to QUIT the demo cause the option to go back to a menu, or start again, was left out.
You'd think that would be quite obvious to get right.
I like sportsgames, but when you just play on your own, it's a bit like fastfood or something. You can waste a lot of time you playing it and enjoying it, but very rarely is it REALLY fullfilling in the way a story/reward based game can be.

... I think the 2 analogue stick lay-out as we know it is perfect for shooters and whatever.
I do agree we need controllers with a much better D-pad, plus I'd like 6 face-buttons instead of 4,for games like SF.
... of all the Capcom/SF characters that aren't in SF4, these really wouldnt have been my first choice to add to the cast.
I'd prefer some characters from the Alpha series, or perhaps Ibuki and Alex and maybe some other nice characters from SF3.

... I'd like to see a Lego Marvel Universe, set in an open world/city, and with RPG elements.
Furthermore I'd like to see a Battlefield 2-style Lego GI JOE, with all the Joe and Cobra vehicles.
... I quite like the design, and they're sure to be collector's items that will be worth a lot of money in years to come...

BUT... it seems this is just suited for SF2/4 (and maybe King of Fighters, but not anything else. I'm sure SF fans will feel it's worth the purchase, but I'm not sure I personally will find it worth the cash, just for these games.
(On the other hand, when kept sealed, it will most likely make it's money back in a few years...

Just because something 'is the way it is", doesnt mean it's the way it should be. If someone buys a game at fullprice and thus supports the game from the very beginning, why should he get LESS content than someone who buys it a year later and pays half!?
As soon as the 'greatest hits' version was released, they should have made all the DLC FREE for everyone who already had the game.

1: Here in Holland, there hasnt been a release yet of a 'greatest hits' Forza 2.
2: I already own Forza 2, so why would I wanna buy it again for the DLC!?
3: If the DLC is now FREE and included in a 'Greatest Hits' release of the game, for probably 30 bucks(?) ...
... I played Forza 1 to death on the first Xbox, but felt Forza 2 was wayyyy too much of the same. It was more like a Forza 1.5, or a Forza HD, instead of a true and worthy sequel.
It lacked interesting tracks, it lacked enough interesting cars, and I feel they should include a day-night cycle or at the very least more interesting lighting. (for those of us that played the original as much as I did. For newcomers it's obviously a must-buy)

Anyway, it's interesting news, but not really game-related.
... I thought it looked good and played great.
This 2nd demo is a longer track, and also looks and plays nice, although the 'water-effects' are a bit 'weird', the way they suddenly splash on your screen when you're going 'through' the waterfall.
Also, I hate that after the demo it brings up a screen that stays there for about a minute before you can start again. It just makes me turn of the demo and go play something else instead.

... I'm still hoping for a G.I. Joe game based on the TV show and comics (design-wise), playing as a Battlefield-style game, with all the great characters and vehicles playable. Cell-shaded ofcourse.
This game just seems like another easy, cheap, forced, cash-in on the G.I. Joe movie-license. I seriously doubt I'll ever own this.

Sonic was was fantastic, Sonic 2 was even greater, and Sonic CD was awesome as well.
Sonic 3 was just another platformer, which had the lost the 'Sonic' feel to it, and after that, it's just been mediocre or bad.
What I just don't understand is, why don't they just go back to the classic style and gameplay and simplicity of the first few Sonic games!?
Just make it a HD, 2D SPRITE-BASED gorgeous platformer (not a 2d 'racer' like the PSP Sonic game...
