Correct and incorrect. Like GT HD Concept, GT2000 was scrapped as a full game and became a limited freebie for the PS2's launch at PlayStation Festival 2000, that's basically what's left of it.
There's no point in a PS4 launch GT if there won't be any significant improvements...
Also, there's never been a successful launch GT, just look at GT2000 and GT HD Concept for proof of that.
Wii U CPU is NOT Power7, IBM corrected that assumption.

It was discovered to be a triple core version of the Wii and Gamecube's CPU.

"The Force is strong with EA, honestly"
Thus, I retain a position northwind of them...
Oh no they don't, they're not that slick. They always say something like this to get the heat off them while they tear consoles a new asshole while noone's looking...
Unless the Durango has its own way of multitasking, the extra graphics pipeline and 8 Compute pipelines with their own 8 queues per pipeline give the PS4's GPU an edge by actually doing graphics and general purpose tasks simultaneously w/o latency hitches.
"It’s definitely got its share of interesting challenges – filling up that much memory from disk takes some time. From a technical standpoint, the DDR5 part is perhaps more interesting to me. But the 8GB part makes me pretty happy, too, since I think it makes a powerful 'PR statement'."
-_-.........
Let's just say that devs are going to get more out of it for gaming than similarly specced PC's, especially when it comes to multitasking...
The article seems unconvinced of the customizing involved, including the 64 Compute Queues, which is a shame because it's more than just that. Here's a hint:

360 discs ARE double layered. A regular DVD only holds 8.5GB double layered, but current XGD3 (XBOX Game Disc 3) discs have extra security encryption, cutting that down to 7.9GB.
STOP IT WITH THE GOD DAMNED EXCLUSIVE SHIT ON CONSOLES, EA!!! HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED ANYTHING FROM MADDEN AT ALL??? *heart attack*

Fixed.
There's NO WAY IN HELL that MS could ever have any difficulty in obtaining a Blu-ray licence.
Another possibly late PC release for a GTA game then?
Not true, it could be a precious second or the whole shebang.
Whatever's blockable is entirely up to the creator's discretion. Whole vids of gameplay footage have taken down because of certain portions as opposed to the whole thing, afterwards it's then up to the uploader to negotiate what's allowable or not.
People don't realize the reason for this is because of copyright. Look at what's going on in YouTube as an example with people monetizing playthroughs and devs or pubs obstructing because of copyright infingement and such. Sony has to play it down the middle or else some pubs or devs won't put their games on the console. Whether we like it or not, the rights of developers and publishers come first.
@MikeMyers
"What we don't want is a situation like before where Sony forces developers to have exclusive content if it gets a later release date or Microsoft demanding simultaneous release dates."
So only MS is allowed to to make demands and not Sony...
*facepalm*
Patch in extensive Pro Controller support. The HAVE a secondary controller made for the current console, they should make use of it.
I'm traumatized... I have NO IDEA what to say here... T_T
"Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter 3 though we both hits, but failed to sell well."
Are those THEIR words? If so, that's dizzying...
