I think we've all been bombarded with enough gameplay videos over the last week to know that this is total BS
You mean he's a developer who's actually experienced the benefits of DX12 and now he can't stop talking about them?
don't worry, you'll here plenty about the cloud at this E3.
He's a CEO of a game company that is making an RTS on PC using DX12. Please explain to me why his opinion is not valid?
hold on, I seem to recall a certain Uncharted trailer shown at E3 that was running 'in engine, realtime on PS4 hardware' at 60 fps.
I hope they do. MS first party studios make great games
Not really a fighting game fan so the choice is easy for me
no, no, no. The three OSs is strictly software. The PS4 could do it as well if they had the same software wizards MS has in house. The XB1 was built for DX12 but had to release a year early to keep the Sony from getting a massive lead and therefore majority of devs used DX11 vanilla (DX11 without the desktop overhead). Software makes the hardware sing, and the XB1 is 100% designed for DX12.
Its more authentic with these guys
you don't pay AMD 3 billion dollars to design an SoC thats weaker then your competitions.
The XB1 DX12 wants to set the record straight. I wonder why?
He's keeping expectations in check, do some research, DX12 is a game changer for the PC and the XB1
Hold on a second, If I was making a game for PC/XB1, why wouldn't I be taking advantage of DX12?
came here to post the very same comment, but i'll just give ya a bubble this time
looks great but thats not what the gameplay looked like at PSX. And the 'uncanny valley' refers more to facial animations then to actual detail on the face. Though I think naughty dog is better than most when it comes to their mo-cap
Its just one of those love it or hate it games. Personally I love it
Driveclub hype has come and gone. Its too late now, well played Sony/Evo. Classic bait and switch executed perfectly
you guys get really impressed over the tiniest things. Sony is being proactive to avoid lawsuits. any company in the world would do the same thing. If they were really awesome they would have charged you the right price to begin with
If you played a game infront of the guy who made it, would you tell him to his face it was boring?
5 hours long, half cutscenes. Confirmed. I guess they cram a lot of gameplay mechanics into 2.5 hours of game.
