And who makes the PCs?

Because it's so easy to buy multiple new consoles, right? /facepalm

Or any Fatal Frame games for any Playstation console.
Bring the series back home, Tecmo.;(

I know a lot of people complained that it was multiplatform, but that wasn't the problem for me. Sure, Square could have fit more into the game if it was PS3 exclusive, but who's to say that the things that would have been added would have been good things? You don't need a Blu-Ray disc to create a great RPG. If Square could create a great game on a tiny NES cartridge or a PS1 disc, they can create a great game for multiplatform.

No, my problem with the game was...

So multiplatform Silent Hills always sold okay...so Konami should make the next one exclusive?

Uh-huh.

There is a lot wrong with the Silent Hill series lately, and the platform it's on isn't one of them. (except maybe Shattered Memories being for PS2/Wii only. What were Konami thinking?!)

nickjkl: Yes, most FF games have you following a linear path, but you could still go off and explore towns or explore the world map whenever you wanted to (even if the world map was empty, you could still explore it). You might have been following a linear story, but it FELT like you were exploring.

Take FF7 for example; Even at the beginning of the game you can explore certain parts of Midgar. You can go into people's homes, you can go into any store, you can talk to ...

Let's not forget exploration. Give me a lot of exploration (possibly even an airship) and I'll be happier.

Hours of linear corridors and cutscenes =/= a good game. :(

I've heard people say that games are sexist against men before but the source article brings up a valid point about the portrayal of such sexism. The male characters often have bodies that are aimed at appealing to male gamers - In other words, they aren't created for female gamers to ogle (though of course, that won't stop them from ogline), but rather, they are created as a way of saying "Look at this strong, muscular man. This could be you!"

Whereas...

I hate to say it, but he looked cuter in U2.

Sorry Nate :(

I don't know why this got thumbed down. Isn't the character faces one of the few complaints this series gets? I remember there being quite a bit of complaining about Chloe's "freaky Uncanny Valley eyes". It's small, but it does need to be fixed up a bit.

No offence but its obvious you have no clue who Gackt is if you're calling him a girly boy. Apart from having a feminine face, what about him is girly? The James Earl Jones voice? The constant talk about sex and appreciation for women? The love of sports?

Looks can be decieving. He isn't just a "girly boy" (if it weren't for his face, he'd be the opposite of most Japanese male idols. But meh, he loves beinjg pretty as f*ck) and he is "cool&qu...

I'd love to see a movie of the first game. The STARS members going into the forest to investigate the "cannibal" murders, discovering zombies, getting trapped in the mansion, and slowing unravelling Umbrella's secrets...ending with the twist of Wesker's betrayal.

It's pretty much a movie plot already :)

I don't understand the second point. How is Alice more relateable than Jill Valentine? Alice is an infected superhero Mary Sue who can take on goddamn NEMESIS with her bare hands, while Jill is a regular woman who fell into in a shitty situation. GUESS WHO'S MORE RELATEABLE, PAUL!!

And so what if the audience has never heard of Jill before? AS THE DIRECTOR IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INTRODUCE HER TO THE AUDIENCE!!
It's not like Jill has a deep and c...

Hardly. He's just doing what he has to do to stay popular...and being a pretty boy is what the public wants (though he's more known for being a nerd/dork and always having batshit insane stories during interviews).

You gotta give him credit, he's been at the top of the charts for 14 years AND his involvement in gaming helps boost sales among female gamers.

He wasn't voted "Japan's prettiest man" for nothing! lol :D

Awesome game. Beautiful environments. But the horrible "typical Unreal Engine" look of the characters was really off-putting.

They looked like creepy disproportioned plastic dolls.

I get that some people might not find Miranda's face attractive because she's fairly unique looking, but "ugly"? Hardly. She's no uglier than the average girl you'd see irl. That's what makes her an interesting character to look at imo...She's not a cookie-cutter beauty. She has her flaws. Just like a real person.

"Ugly" is someone who looks like Gruntilda or Wario or Street Fighter's Rufus. Not Miranda.

So because she wrote an article about not liking booth babes, she must be some ugly chick who got dumped by her boyfriend? Pfft. It's needless immature opinions like this that aren't needed on N4G or in the gaming community. And people wonder why society looks down on gamers. ugh...

I agree with you. Just imagine how awesome this game would look on PS3.

Kingdom Hearts did well. I don't know why devs assume games with "kiddish" concepts will only do well on Wii.

Is it weird that I think she'd be pretty hot if she lost that weight?
