> Talks about poor Wii U sales that were a direct result of a drought of games a few months ago
> Article is taking about a game that just released today as well as future titles
Not sure if butthurt...
Statistically speaking, the Wii U.
Lol, suddenly sales numbers are important.
Holy crap!
No. Certainly not based on day 1 sales. It's only a matter of if sales will sustain.
Nintendo fans like quality gameplay experiences.
As my next-gen living room console.
And then my PC is in my office.
Good to see different perspectives on the game. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of quick-time events so naturally the game has left a bad taste in my mouth since it's reveal. Visuals looks pretty sweet though.
Well I don't plan on using Monopoly money, so yeah. I like playing quality games and personally, I like Platinum and currently own W101.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be using real money.
Count me out of that demographic.
Lol excellent comment.
I have no companion consoles. Wii U is just as much of a main as my PC.
Sure, in a world where Sony has 10 billion in bank and Nintendo's stock rating is junk, this might be a legitimate concern.
Lol who does that? Celebrates a birthday by recapping on the biggest disappointments?
Haha, damn.
Funny how sales all of a sudden matter for some people yet they didn't matter for the Wii.
But yes, few bought it because there was very little marketing. On top of that, Nintendo's install base is much different from Sony or MS's.
Where as most of the initall 1,000,000 software sales went to Nintendo exclusives, most of PS4's software sales went to multiplatform games with COD racking up the most.
Says a lot.
"it wont. nintendo has been going downhill since the NES."
Credibility has been erased. Just like that.
Not for Wii U, if you couldn't predict the drought that ensued, but other than that, it's looking like Wii U had the best console launch of both these consoles based on aggregate reviews.
Nintendo and other companies that strive to provide original experiences fix what wasn't broken all the time. Not sure why SEGA doesn't get a pass with Sonic.
It's not downplay. These are great numbers, but for a new product that was supposed to launch Vita back into relevancy, this is underwhelming, esp. if they don't remain this for the rest of the system's life.
The same was expected of the Wii U. It should be no different here.
