well I'd say I've already came to the point of not really caring about more realistic wrinkles. I would love naughty dog go back to their roots and make a fun platformer, but with a story on par with their more serious stuff. They could make the Wall-e or Lion King of videogames. Something cute, but with a dark serious side that can bring out the tears in the most manly of men.

I think things will be like this gen for the most part. 3rd party games will be very close to eachother with the slightly better version being on PS4 instead of current ones being better on 360. 1st party will be the same and a struggle back and forth, with sony eventually outshining MS, just like this generation.
Either way the best game will come from the makers of Bioshock, not sony nor ms.

I think there will be 1 additional generation of just increasing the power. After that I think they will hit a wall where graphically there is no further they can take things. At that time I think we will see a drastic change in the gaming landscape.

Gaikai was a 300+ million dollar investment, that will give them a great online aspect. They have shown that it will allow remote play anywhere through an internet connection, so that is a feature you won't see on the X1

I am not bashing the X1 games, I think both are strong, the only ones I bash are Ryse and Fighter Unleashed, both of which I can guarantee are going to be mediocre.
Both are good launches, both are way better than any launch in the past.

Sony wouldn't put a share button on the system unless it was to share, and where is the #1 place people share things. Youtube. I'm sure this is just a case of them thinking there was no need to state the obvious in the same way that it wouldn't need stating that the PS4 is HD.
Even if they don't out the gate I'm sure it is a eventual thing like Gaikai, or if they for some reason are against it, they will 180 when the majority demands...
some really good launches. The amount of free content is the biggest PLUS. I can only afford one game (watchdogs) so getting 4 additional free games day one is a great thing
