The problem is the sales haven't been growing. Ps4 this year sold 20mil this is the Time when sales should skyrocket now that it is SUB 200$. The trend has been slowing not speeding up. Honestly think it has 50 million lifetime possible but that is a 30mil drop on the 360...
new games are great. classics are awesome too. Taking Fallout on the go, that is just epic
It was a bit underwhelming. I am not a "Nintendo fan" so things like Kirby and dk country don't really do it for me. Was really hoping for either fallout 3 or new Vegas remastered for the switch (definitely is gunna come, Bethesda is bringing all their old stuff to the switch so maybe at E3)

You misunderstand. I don't mean it would use steam, it would use the windows store or whatever it was called and they'd compete with steam. You know Microsoft is frosty over valve getting all those pc license fees, this would both give them an identity in the console space and maybe steal some steam users on pc
That's what I've been saying for over a year. The 1x should of been basically a steam machine (but their own store obviously) that also played all Xbox games. That is the only path to success for them

You realize that Microsoft has lost 10s of billions on Xbox. 5 billion alone back when the red ring happened. The x is sold at a loss and isn't bringing in NEW users so is money thrown away.
There comes a point where it's stupid to continue ( and that point was June 2013)
Before the x was revealed I said the only way it would succeed is if it was a steam machine that could play pc games on your tv + all Xbox games. They didn't do that, and it failed.
Clearly Microsoft wants to be the next steam, next gen they need to take my advice otherwise they will fall further and further behind. Currently they have no identity

you do realize they are selling the 1x at a loss, plus spent rumored 1 billion designing it. The only source of profit is live which is the only reason they haven't already tossed in the towel

They first lost to sony, now to switch, if they don't shape up Brazilian sales of the Sega master system will start beating them each month too. Which sells 150k a year still so more 8bit Sega systems sell in Brazil each month than xbox1s sell in Japan each month. Fail.

Ok if you want to compare the switch to current prices you better add a tv and second controller to the price of the Xbox and ps4 before you make those comparisons
There was nothing worth playing. I don't hate the Xbox but I am frugal and Microsoft has not made any attempts to convince me to part ways with my money. I loved the original Xbox and played it a great deal, mainly the Sega exclusives like jet grind radio future and toejam and earl 3. My 360 rroded but enjoyed mass effect and bioshock a great deal early on. With the x1 the only game that has peaked my interest was sunset overdrive and that isnt enough to get a purchase from me on alone.

They do speak for themselves and what they say is Microsoft had it's worst year ever, meanwhile Sony and Nintendo pretty much had their bests.
Microsoft's numbers are highly debatable too, I bet it's closer to 30mil not 35.
