So those people either graduated to a 360/ps3, or never truly became gamers and are probably on mobile now.
People really thought that? I always figured MS was pretty clear that it couldn't replace your cable box, it was just used as a pass through. Now services like Sling and PS Vue can replace a cable box with something like a fire tv, but anyone buying an X1 with that in mind was probably disappointed.
A quarter of the year is not 1 month, it's 3. Also Q3 of 2016 does not include January of 2017.
Japanese games don't count. Neither do indies unless they're only on xbox. Also PSVR titles don't count. And Finally PS4 exclusives don't count. Your little list doesn't look so impressive now, does it?
heh, gamestop had a deal going where they were offering $150 for an X1 and $175 for a PS4, that along with some X1 games I traded with the consoles got me a Pro for less than the price of a game.
Glad you're happy with all those. And I'm sure X1 will bring some games that'll have you booting it up again. Personally I've been a bit harsh on MS lately but that's mainly due to me feeling, not betrayed, but more forgotten by them. Like they just expect me to stick with them while the reasons to do so keep disappearing. It's still the only console brand I buy on blind faith every gen since I first got a PS1. Every other I need to see at least 5 games I want to play before I buy the console.

FF15 impressed me so much I think (and I can't believe I'm about to say this) I might just grab the rest of the FF13 trilogy and finish it up.
