i'd label you a core gamer. you try and play it all.
you don't play the launch game and let the system collect dust. you're part of the core base the industry depends on.
Yeah these games are all pretty terrible.
Then again this is what you deserve to suffer when you inflate scores. Enjoy. Proud to say I didn't waste a second of my life playing any of these.
Not just advertising dollars...If they put Diablo on their list they'd be blacklisted. Big sites like this can't call out the bigger publishers because they depend on them too much.
It would be like a kid saying nasty things about their parent. They'd get screwed. Smaller and more independent sites don't have as much to lose or as much at stake so they can call out the bullshit on the spot.
They knew what they signed on for. We're talking about Craptivision here.
On the brightside, they'll find new jobs at much better companies without all of the "fear instilling." Now they are free. =)
The games themselves are great and I bought them on release.
But DLC is rarely worth the money. Don't get me started on DLC this generation. Don't even go there girlfriend. The vast majority of DLC is pure exploitation to counter people buying used by getting more money out of people who already paid 50-60 legitimately on release. It's a waste of hard earned money. Gone are the days of buying a finished product.
I blame gamestop.

Their target audience is children and casuals. Casuals won't pay $400-500. It would get a price cut a few months later after sluggish sales just like the 3DS.

GTA is more relevant today than it has ever been.
I desperately need to play another GTA. I play GTA games to relax, laugh and have a good time because they are parodying American culture!!! They'll have no shortage of material to put on their radio and in their missions given what we've been through in the past 4 years.
