Jaffe is awesome. Good answers.
I'd prefer option A too. I've played enough AAA games the past 2 years. Give me another bold game like Dark Souls with some thought behind it.
Yep. Kill it. Kill it with fire.
Preaching to the choir.
All I ask is that those of us who actually read reviews and talk about video games stop giving Capcom money. Forget letting the franchise die. Lets let the COMPANY die. Maybe another company can buy the rights to the franchise once they've gone under.
Let the little kids buy this stuff and just find something that is worth your time.
Doubt it.
Got 400 hours and still going in Dark Souls. New DLC released for consoles on the 25th.
So technically the game will have been out for over a year with NEW content instead of a yearly sequel. That's straight up much better value right off the bat.
Thank god I don't have to hear about this guy anymore on N4G.
But he was alright. I didn't like him. I didn't hate him.
He was fucking annoying at times, but he also made a few good points.
That's not the only thing that'll be broken if you get the PS3 version if you know what I mean.
I'm saying Bethesda games are shit on ps3 if you don't know what I mean. Because they are. Ask anybody. Seriously. Not joking.
HEADS MUST ROLL!
Where do we start a petition to get these Executives at Capcom FIRED??
Their investors will not be happy after seeing the numbers for this game. lol.
WE ARE THE CUSTOMER HERE. We are the ones calling the shots. We just need to organize.
If a hundred thousand people can make a petition to get Dark Souls released for the PC then a few million of us can get these scumbags ruining our games fired.
lol. go back to your baby game.
make sure you put the square peg into the square hole when the prompt comes on screen.
suffer fool.
Exactly my friend. Supply and Demand. They've created the biggest supply ever and we all know it fucking sucks.
THIS THINGS PRICE IS GOING TO DROP FASTER THAN USAIN BOLT IN THE 100M.
So straight up heres why not to buy this game:
1. It's horrible
2. You'll probably be able to get it used because lots of people will be returning it
3. It will get price cut very fast because they've created a HUGE supply of it wi...
Assassin's Creed III - Mediocre sequel that Ubisoft milks the hell out of.
Assassin's Creed Liberation - What did I just get done saying?
Dishonored - Hey if you're a PC gamer have at this one. If you're playing on a PS3... well you remember what they did with Skyrim. Full of gamebreaking glitches and they couldn't even release DLC for it because it was so broken.
DMC- You should change the acronym to EMO. Combat looked b...
Let him know. Don't type it here. Send him a message at capcom unity. Send him a message on google plus. Send him a message on twitter.
We need to make our voices heard. He needs to be fired because obviously as the PR guy who "heads their global and strategic initiatives" he is doing a very poor job.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME PEOPLE. IT'S HORRIBLE.
That guy is a fucking weasel. DO NOT TRUST THAT MAGAZINE. It is owned by Gamestop. They are in the business of selling games.
Tim Turi must be estatic about the new Resident Evil. I bet he loves it.
All that said, I personally think of the term gamer as not being exclusive to video games. Games like poker, chess, playing the stock market etc being included. You can apply it pretty much anywhere you're gaming a system.
And wow... I just watched that commercial. That is one of the DUMBEST commercials I have ever seen. What does that even mean?? "I'm a coin collecting champion." Yeah... Good luck with that.
"Fuck you Nintendo." Ind...
Yep the term gamer has even more negative connotations today than it has in the past because the IQs of people who play games like Resident Evil 6 are very, very low.
It's getting worse because developers are now trying to suck as many people into their games as possible by dumbing them down and lowering standards.
You do have games like RTS or fighters that require tons and tons of time, effort and dedication to compete. They're like chess on crack. ...
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah aahahahahaha....
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha h ahahahahahaha
no but seriously
hahahahahahahahahhahaahahahah hahahaha
Ubisoft is terrible.
The only thing they're good at is 2d sidescrollers.
It's too late for a reboot.
They've tainted the series. It's a joke now.
Their best bet is to fire their overpaid executives or start cutting their pay like Nintendo. If I was a developer at Capcom, i'd be getting my ass out of there because shit runs downhill.
It isn't Resident Evil.
It's a slap in the face to Resident Evil.
What are you blabbering morons going on about? 3 times as much walking between cutscenes and doing quicktime events? Woo hoo? Just make a game like that shorter so you can get on with it and do something fun instead.
Even if I had the ability to cheat in a game, I would not want to. To me games are all about developing some type of translatable skill and you're never going to learn anything by cheating. It doesn't matter if you win or lose anyways if there are no stakes.
I'm looking forward to DotA2 on PC. I think they'll do a good job of weeding out the cheaters in that game. Even if they don't I just fucking love DotA and i'm going to have fun with it regardless....
I don't think DMC will suffer the same fate though. RE5 and RE6 are much worse by comparison.
DMC they just changed the style of the character to be a litle more emo which is like a style choice. They didn't fundamentally RUIN the gameplay and atmosphere (tension) like they did with RE.
Although it did look like there were fewer enemies on the screen than the original trilogy and the game looked very LINEAR from the demo. But you have to give the deve...
It's not dead. It's dragging out a painful existence with short term profits for some sleezeball executives. It's undead.
Kill it. Kill it with fire.
