I bought all my release day games for 2013 for $33 each last year by combining discounts on gift cards i bought last year, preorder store credit rewards and quarterly cash back promotion with my credit card.
I think they need to lower release day prices and keep them from depreciating so quickly. Have the games hold their value. The only way they'll do this is if they cut down on used game sales.
If they raise them then they'll just price cut faster ...
This shit is such a hassle. I prefer the good old days when you just picked up a physical copy of the game and stuck it in the disc drive.
No need to download or wait on anything. These changes are all to the benefit of the companies profiting off the games more than anyone else. It helps them lower their production costs and creates a burden for us.

THis is probably going to be the best selling video game of all time.
I believe it will sell MORE on the PS3 than any other platform since 360 and PS3 are the only options and playing it on the 360 will require a subscription fee for the online service and will also require you to use multiple dvds instead of just 1 bluray.

i pretty much don't rebuy games from the ps2 era, but im really tempted with these because of how open ended they are. such fantastic games. i didn't even buy the god of war or metal gear solid remakes, but these are definitely tempting. if i finish my backlog i might pick them up.
