This is exactly why i think the ps4 is coming out TOO SOON! How can you announce PS4 when the best game for the current gen system hasn't even come out yet? Not to mention God of War, Last of Us, Bioshock.... They should have launched 2014 instead of 2013 imo.

I bought 1TB external drive and a 1TB internal HARD DRIVE for $70 last November.
You shouln't have to pay 31x times as much for the equivalent level of storage when your little stick has less components than a hard drive. I don't know what their added costs are in creating these things, but it's not going to be that much.

Games currently cost $60 plus tax and i'm getting them ON RELEASE DAY FOR EFFECTIVELY $33 via store credit, credit card cash back and deals the store had on buying gift cards at a discount earlier in the year.
THIS IS CHEAPER THAN WHEN I BOUGHT PS2 GAMES FOR $50 BACK WHEN I WORKED PART TIME IN HIGHSCHOOL 10 years ago.

Seems like it is a development standoff where every developer/publisher is waiting for every other developer/publisher to make a hit for the console so that it has a large enough install base to warrant the development costs of making more games for it.
Nintendo really needs to put out some big must buy 1st party stuff other than the 1 mario game.... I'm talking metroid, donkey kong country, zelda, super smash bros etc. Something old nintendo fans are itching for.
Wii U is like that system you buy as an accessory to your PC, PS3 or 360. YOu shouldn't be depending on them for 3rd party content.
In Japan they just announced a price drop with a TON of japanese rpg games.

You're not noticing it picking up in the states yet because we haven't gotten a price drop. A lot of people picked it up over black friday when it was $170 because that deal sold out. There is demand for it, but not at the $250 price point yet.
