the ps2 is still supported, you can buy them new in all major retailers and games still come out for it
that does not mean you cannot launch a new console and still support your old one, in fact, microsoft dropping complete support for the OG xbox is more of a rarity
the only way they can is by announceing a new console and showcasing 5 hardocre titles that all run in full 1080p with 4x minimum anti aliasing at witcher 2 quality
other than that, no, snowballs chance in hell of them doing anything spectacular
if nintendo's new console does 1080p with 4x anti aliasing in every game and has at least 5 hardcore launch titles then yes
also, microsoft announceing a new console will be awesome in so many ways!!

but la noire sucks.....
imo at least...i rented it, it looked like the sims 2 and played like a shitty adventure game with terrible gameplay mechanics, walk to a crime scene look for a clue, pick up a usless cup or bottle or cigarette butt that looked like it was rendered on a ps1

last gen in comparisson.
I run everything in 1920x1080 or 2560x1600 with 16x-64x anti aliasing at 60-120 frames per second
sure, we play a ton of the same games, but i assure you, what is being played on consoles across america and the world looks nothing, NOTHING like what that same game looks like maxed out on a nice pc

I have not even checked system requirements for ANY in over 4 years, this game will blaze at 120-60 frames like every quality AAA game blazes

they will run, with TONS of jaggies (like 90% of all console games), sub-hd, only 24 players and still spike down into the low 20's with the average being 27 frames per second.

lol....the tomb raider trailer DISembowels and then DESTRoys the uncharted 3 trailer, the uncharted 3 trailer was absolute ass and made me think they spent less money on it than unchated 2, however, i think uncharted 3 will be a way, way better game!

pc version of BF3 for me, if I was not so against it, i would pirate the sh!t out of mw3, but, we gotta retain some principles ... I have yet to pirate anything, music, games, movies, I believe in paying an artist for his/her work....but i won't pay Acti for what is another expansion pack, same engine, same guns/perks practically, same map layouts with new skins...nope, if they were honest and said hey, this is a mw2 add-on, and it's 29.99, i'd bite, but full price...... pass!! ...
damn, the performance from the patch and the new nvidia drivers (275.33) made this game blaz on my rig
I am getting constant 60 frames per second, hell if i turn off v-sync i am getting over 100 frames per second, but i like my v-sync, i always use it
