I agree with points from both sides of this arguement, flower is a really cool looking game btw, but,

there is not on this planet, a single console game in existance, that even looks in the same generation, let alone close to, the witcher 2

the trailer is using a pass of at least, at least 8x AA which is IMPOSSSIBLE on ps3 or 360 with that level of detail.

why the hell do console people keep asking for a new engine, do you mean on next gen consoles, cause the game already runs in nasty 1024x600 on console now and is covered in jaggies, what good would a new engine do for current gen console when they cannot even run this one in 720p let alone 1080p, i don't get it.
the pc version of mw3 looks better than any single game on xbox360 or ps3, it makes uncharted 3 look 6 years old, but there is not much more they can GIMP on the...

that pic is wierd, washed out and obviously not in game as there are not jaggies EVERYWHERE like the build I played, you know, the real game.
uncharted 3 looks much worse than uncharted 2 and is also, dare i say, a lesser game.
uncharted 2 was a 10/10, uncharted 3 is an 8.5/10, not because of graphics, even though they are worse, becasue the pacing is off, the gunplay is still off, and the MP is uninspired.

i really hope this is good, snowblind studios is at the helm so i think it may be. they made the super awesome ps2 hack n slashes like baldurs gate 1 and 2, and champions of norrath 1 and 2!

The game is quite childish to begin with, and I love it, I don't currently play and never got into cata, as the whole reskinning parts of the existing world was lame to me, but
I might go back for a month or two...

That's my hope at least, but honestly, with games on pc like BAttlefield 3, The Witcher 2, Stalker 2, Arma 2, starcraft 2, Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, Shogun 2, Hard Reset, Crysis 2 and many more already a FULL GENERATION ahead of ps3 and 360 and 2-3 generations ahead of the wii, I could really care less, we may not even see new consoles.

lol. theres nothing else they can do that is in anyway impressive. We have seen Uncharted 2 many years ago, that is the pinnacle of this gen of consoles, on xbox360 or ps3, nothing will ever make you look at uncharted 2 and go, "remember when we thoguht that was the best looking game?"

PC for the 32v32 and 64v64 games.
Even the 20v20 servers are cool for the small maps.
Things like operation firestorm though, having a team of 31 other players and assaulting a strategic location like a well oiled booth babe, nothing topping it!
ohhhh and the game runs beautifully at 60 frames on ultra and of course looks AMAZING!

The console games made today besides uncharted look terrible. Battlefield 3 on console look better than any console game I have ever seen besides uncharted, yet it looks a full generation behind the pc version. The Jaggies are terrible, the pop-in is bad, the screen tearing is not the worst I have seen but still very obvi...

lol....a bit extreme I would say, I'm buying BF3 and MW3 on PC, my friends can decide for themselves!
I bought my 360 6 years ago and my ps3 5 years ago, I was ready a year ago!!!
PC is the main thing I game on now, I like true native 1080p with 16x anti aliasing and v-sync so I don't have to look at nasty jaggies and screen tearing! I have gotten so used to 60 frames per second or better that now when I do play a console title like Dark Souls (which is awesome) the framerate is UNBEARABLE!

Those screen are heavily compressed, imagine them blown up to whatever your tv size is and that is how it looks on 360.

consoles are just 7 year old pc's with less capabilities, , way more expensive games, less genres, and no anti aliasing!
