The idea that the sales numbers dont count because Sony has released in more territories is sort of mislead. MS is not stupid. They believed that by focusing on core markets(where people have more money to spend, both on consoles and on games) they could get the console sales thatcount more in terms of profit. Gaming being such a huge part of VR application it is likely that even facebook wont prevent oculus from being used for its main application. Now thiugh, i really hope Sony is able to deliver the goods, cuz we need it more than ever
Im extremely excited for VR, and hopeful. Whether these companies will be able ro succeed or not is one thing, VR's place in the future however is guarenteed.

I want Sony to offer a stellar product, but i know rhey also need to make it affordable if they want it to take off, its a difficult decision for them. I hope it takes off, as it will be an amazing experience for gamers

Ubisoft is one of my favorite publishers. (definitely better than EA imo) I really hope they get behind VR. Morpheus and Oculus Rift could be the saving grace of gaming. I love games, but even I have to admit we need something new. And not a gimmick. VR is the future, its the holy grail of entertainment. (i'm talking not just video games). I for one, am super excited about the possibilities.

Finally some one who knows what they are talking about. VR would be a huge leap forward for gaming. Its the final frontier for not just gaming.
