I'm going to try to talk some sense into you all.
GT5 is overhyped. It's been hyped for a VERY long time, and PS3 fans have hyped every video, picture they have seen from GT5 before it was released. Basically they had 360 user under check.
Now that GT5 is out, reviewers and 360 users are ripping the tittle apart to find mistakes because it's been in development for 5 years and because of all the hype. And when they find those mistakes etc. they ...
Read an article last week that they have passed 1 million copies. That's damn good being todays market, and that the production value was not the highest.
This is personally my game of the year. Had a blast with it and I love the reboot they did and cannot wait for a sequel. For those who have played it through and seen the epilogue, it was freaking amazing!
I'm from Norway and I can say for sure that our "precious" gamer sites as gamer.no, pressfire.no, spillmagasinet.no are just junk who copies news from other major sites and hardly manage to fathom their own opinion. Got nothing to do with ps3 fanboy as you boldly claim.
It's a review from a Norwegian website so don't trust this. Norwegian journalists are incredible stupid and it's difficult from them to develop their own opinion.
Not going to agree with anyone but his comment in not ignorant, but only very stereotypical.
And when will you be releasing this Mr. Community manager? Just because I had to wait for this I bought Black Ops which I really really regret. Even if you had given me VIP MAP Pack 7 before Black Ops came out I wouldn't stupidly go down to the store and get Black Ops.
I think of all the games out there, GT5 is the one game you truly can except a 100% committed crew behind who is willing to patch the game if anything goes wrong etc.
This will be many's underdog for the year.
Even tho the production value is low (being cancelled 3 times and all) this is a impressive game. I can't put my finger on one thing which they should have done different.
Did play 2 playthroughs non stop and got my plat :p Once again, superb game.
But if real zombies would be out there in the streets of New York etc. they all would be too fat to do shit about it >_>
I got nothing wrong with a multiplatform game. I would encourage developers to do that as long they keep the production value somewhat the same. As well as I got nothing against Enslaved, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
But I see Heavenly Sword 2 as a lost opportunity. Yes there weren't that many titles out when the PS3 first got released therefor a lot of people got a taste of Heavenly Sword and from my gatherings people really liked the game. It's a franchise people know...
Ninja Theory are thinking way too wrong in my eyes. Enslaved did not sell very good at all. I'm not going to call it a failure because it's simply not in my place to say that.
They said they wouldn't make a exclusive on the PS3 because they "only" sold 1.5 millions. Development expenses was a lot higher when the PS3 first released, but if they realized that they easily would top 1 million copies if they made Heavenly Sword 2 for the PS3. 1 million copie...
Your site seems good so far. You are concentrating on the fun parts of being a gamer it seems and this reflects on he review and the site itself. Also thumbs up for not going for a score system.
From what I've heard it's not the beginning either apparently.
I love the internal healthy competition between Sony's first parties. Amazingly high standards, extremely high production value and extensively great game experiences for us gamers :)
Is this news? I mean, it's pretty obvious.. I don't feel I learned anything.
What the heck is wrong with you guys? I don't give a crap about what you feel about GT5 or whatever. It comes down to that I've been waiting 5 years for this GT5 racer on the PS3.
It's been 5 years.
That's all I got to say..
You're not supposed to master the controls but the game mate >_>
How is this possible? The traffic on Xbox Live has doubled this year and I doubt the traffic on PSN has tripled or more.
Epic Mickey might do good on the Wii, but this is really a Wii title I feel is a missed opportunity since it's not on the PS3 and the Xbox. Especially the PS3 with Move support.
