I find it funny how the same people complaining about how all games are the same, are getting mad that Bioware isn't continuing with Shepard, and want to try something different.
You know, it's a shame a game like Ride to Hell wasn't created by a better team. The premise is great. A biker action oriented open world game where you could upgrade your bike, and live like a Son of Anarchy, but ended up being a bastard of chaos...such a shame.
I hope so, my fiance got me a Vita for Christmas, so I'm hoping for even more announcements!
Is it bad that I would actually like to hear a sequel to Lair announced? The graphics for that time were terrific, and after the patch came out to make the motion controls optional, I think the game was pretty freaking good. I think there's a lot of potential with that game put into the hands of one of Sony's first party studios.
But maybe that's just me.
I give them credit for narrowing it down to just 10 problems
They used this same tactic of mentioning "Epic" to force me to watch the release day event, and nothing came up that was too "Epic". Why, Sony, WHY?! Why must you act like the high school cock tease cheerleader, who only lets you play just the tip?!
Am I the only one not too happy about MGS V being broken down into 2 parts? Ground Zeros is supposed to be a prologue to the Phantom Pain, yet we are going to be charged twice for two parts of the same game. I dunno man, seems like people are sitting here arguing over who got the better exclusive content when we should be arguing how we're paying twice for two parts of the same game.
But maybe it's just me.
The very best part was when it ended...
I'm sorry, but I feel like Nintendo has lost touch with the gaming community. There's only so much Mario and Zelda they can stuff down consumers throats before they get sick of it, and it's starting to show this generation. I completely understand that they make quality games, no one is arguing that, but their formula has not changed in over 20 years. Yes, when they do release any of their first party titles, they're quality, but I don't think a system can be successful wi...
I think a show like this would have been more successful about a decade ago when everyone didn't have easy internet access, and could read about all these games before hand.
In all honesty, it was a good show to watch for Xbox fans. They showed Quantum Break, and Titanfall twice.
I like the idea they had for the show, just focus on games without making it into a full blown awards show like they have in the past, but I think the execution of it was off.
But maybe that's just me.
I want those hours of my life back...
I'm a Playstation guy, but this game made Xbox 1 much more appealing, not gonna lie.
If HALF those games come out in 2014, it'll be a very good year.
There goes my social life...
I think a way to counteract that would be to have all the side mission be somehow involved in the overall story plot. Side missions that somehow or someway affect the main story, even in small ways.
I mean there's always room for the few "off beat" missions, but I think the problem is that there can be too many that ultimately make your forget the main narrative, and dilute the experience.
True, but it doesn't hurt to dream of a game with the RPG and exploration elements of Fallout mixed with the FPS mechanics of Killzone.
Now that I typed it out, it sounds even better than I first thought...lol
Bethesda is starting to remind me of that girl in highschool that would get you all worked up, but only let you play just the tip...LMAO
STOP TEASING US!
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to hear about announced IP's and the progress they're making, but I'm really hoping we hear something new, as well.
I thought the Kinect was mandatory for the Xbox One to work, or am I mistaken?
Not arguing that, but they're trying something different in a well established universe, and well received universe, yet people will find reasons to complain. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
But maybe that's just me.
