he was downloading a game and it froze. he pulled the plug and it semi-bricked.
He said he got it to work a couple of times after that but then he gave because it didnt come back on again. I was watching the video for about 45 minutes up until he gave up.
It seems the issue was to do with hdmi output. which also seems to be the main fault we have seen so far.
coincidence he jumps on twitch when theres a live stream of a faulty ps4 being troubleshooted...

And when its released because i think there is a delay, Marvel lego, for the co-op fun gameplay.
Fifa 14, because its free and football.
Killer instinct, so me and my gf can bash each other.
Not a bad line up there with some variety.
Get real. Sony have really dropped the ball with this GUI. the look and features are very lacking for a "next gen" console. Some very common sense things have been overlooked here.

I find it funny how "gamers" are focusing on pure hardware specs and not on the actual games being made for each console. Its like they dont care about what theyre playing as long as its the best hardware theyre playing it on. Very interesting.

People also seem to think that the sony software engineers are as good as the MS ones therefore PS4 will keep getting better and MS will always be catching up.

Looks to me like the PS4 software is very rushed. Average GUI and lacking features from the last generation.
PS4 should be a ps3 with nicer interface and better gaming system as a minimum at launch. Other features can easily be added later. I didnt expect basic features to be an add on.
Surely even the most hardcore sony fan can see that this was either a major oversight or just an attempt at making you buy their music service. Either way its not good.

Theyve sped up the animation to make it seem faster. you can do this on your android phone as well to make seem faster.
Looks a bit more organised but overall it just looks boring. Surely even sony fans can see this isnt a next gen GUI.
Not sure where youre from but interestingly in my country the xbox one is cheaper than the PS4+camera.
In america the ps4+camera would still be slightly cheaper but lets face it they arent even close to being the actual same camera. Now if ps4 came with a kinect that would be an interesting price to talk about.
Yehh the pins in the unit still shouldnt be bending. No matter how you jam the plug in the unit the connection shouldnt be breaking.
Fact of the matter is, this still shouldnt be an issue no matter how small the fix is. it could happen every time you plug the cable in. Why should you need to worry about that. Its a dodgy hdmi port guys stop accepting sub par parts because youre a fan of ps4.
