I havent had this problem but i always make sure i quit the programs properly.
For those that dont know how:
when you "go home" upto 6 (i think) programs can keep running in the background. so you press the menu button on the big tile of the app you just minimized and select quit. This will close that app or game properly.

I have had 2 disconnects. i get moderate NAT for no reason as well. so do my friends. (and yes i know how to configure my connection) Im on a pretty average speed net connection but im not noticing as much lag as 360. Though at times you can tell when you are actually lagging if you watch a kill cam.

You guys realize if a company says they are sold out they are only going by figures from retailers. A lot of retailers will say theyre sold out when they have a small amount left.
Think about it, how could MS or sony possibly know all retailers are sold out, they dont have direct access to retailers stock levels. They also couldn't use activation figures because a lot of these consoles will be wrapped and ready as christmas presents.

Sony have had just as many problems if not more this gen so far with hardware. MS already have a better online experience than sony. they also have arguably better games already out and coming soon. Obviously talking about games is subjective though.
The only thing i can agree with is the os needs updating, but so does sonys. thats just fact. they both need to add the features theyve promised or are missing.

Here in australia the rrp on that game is $100 though you can pick it up for around $80-90 if you look around. So dont feel so bad about the price :P

The only reason i can think that they would do this is because racing games may require more licensing. they would have to pay to use most if not all the car brands in the game.
This may be their way of recouping that money. It may not be good for gamers wallets but it would kind of make sense as to why theyre milking it.

Unless it works out cheaper buying it pre made theres no point. you could build your own and install the OS for free. if it supports other controllers you can use your ps4 or xbox controller on it that youre used to.
The only reason i can see to do this is if you want a dedicated lounge room machine for kids and yourself to play on instead of your main personal computer.

The only time micro transactions arent good are when they are required to progress in a game. If they are optional extras then its ok. If you can get these extras from playing the game longer then fine.
Fifa have been doing this for the last couple of years in FUT. You can buy coins if youre to lazy to play the game and generate them.
Also steam does it as well with game addons and character customization. Android and ios do it as well.

True there will be some things that you could get but its an old sales trick and most companies do it. For example the company i work for are giving away various gift cards from $20+ on certain items. theres even ones worth over $100 on expensive TV's. It makes the customer have to come back to the store and buy more things, most likely more expensive things now that theyre "saving" that money.
