I have all the batman games and theyre all button mashers. counter, mash buttons, finish move. Its funny the dev from ryse actually said they used batman as an influence for the style of combat they wanted.
FPS games.. you literally just run around shooting. how is that not more repetitive?

How this game gets such low scores is beyond me.
It is repetitive, just like the batman games, cod games, battlefield games, killzone games and the list could go on and on. FFS even cult classics like portal are repetitive.
That should make the score go down slightly but lets face it in 90% of games youre doing the same thing over and over with a few variations here and there.

Ps4 is more powerful blah blah who cares. anyone with a half decent PC can say theyre better than PS4 so relax. Killzone looks good and ryse looks good. The graphical difference between the 2 consoles is so small that you need side by side comparisons to maybe see a difference and even then youre still playing the same game that looks good. PS4 will have some games that look even better soon and so will xbox. Great we all win.

In australia the ps4 is $550 and XBO is $600.
You also get fifa14 for free which will retail for between $80-$100.
So in australia at least you get the full value.
Arent you guys in the US getting forza? so are you really paying an extra $100 for kinect? on the MS site forza is $60us. So the price difference is really about $40 for the kinect which is much better value.

I think MS really needed a halo and kinect game to show off. Something to give the halo followers the incentive to get in early. Maybe even if they could get out titanfall as a demo at launch it could have helped.
For me PS4 didnt have one launch game that appealed to me, but the XBO has 2 i really want and a few that i will grab later on.
Im looking forward to all those games as well. Though i am getting DR3 even though the only next gen part about it is the amount of zombies.
Ill also be getting, Marvel, KI and maybe crimson dragon. mainly for the fun and co op factors.

Xbox consumes more power in standby.. well of course its using more resources in standby. plus does the ps4 even have standby? i thought that wasnt released at launch
one minute from cold boot is ok. its only 15 or so seconds from standby.
Not sure how many times you fully turn of the unit and not go into standy by. Its not a ps4 ;P I kid I kid.
Im sure i saw a youtube review or article today say there is a beta option to make it work in settings. They also said MS said they were going to officially add the feature later.

I find that one will be "better suited" for each individual. But one just isnt better than the other overall. It really comes down to what YOU want out of the device.
I guess its just me and you thrust. Ill be using my XBO for games, pay tv, apps and media.

sony have the same conditions of use as MS in terms of using your data from their camera and voice chat. So theres no point even complaining about it. disconnect the cameras when youre not using them and you can take off your tinfoil hat. The winner of the "war" isnt only determined by sales. Its determined on the overall experience delivered. They say arguably for a reason. there was no clear winner because of many factors.
I think if the RRoD didnt happen MS would have easily been the "winner". Just IMO though.
Shes right about the games. take away the next gen gfx and we have got the same games we've always had.
The only couple of next gen things i have seen myself are the amount of zombies in DR3 and in FIFA you can call out tactics and subs and theyll be applied automatically.
Any one else found anything really "next gen" yet? (not including better gfx/visuals)
