Ixeasy - How did you 'discover' SoT with gamepass? It was the big release for ms at the time, advertised everywhere, pushed by YouTube streamers.
Seems you didn't have faith in the product and didn't buy it at launch, tsk, tsk - no wonder ms is reluctant to give it's fans new ips.
Seems Brits didn't understand either - and you lot voted for it. You reap what you sow.
I'm from Australia - and am absolutely loving the shitstorm known as Brexit. Amazing how a country that was once an Empire devolved to such a state.
Voting for something you don't understand - now that's smart thinking.
You do realise most sequels are essentially the same game re-skinned - right?
If a game was good 15+ yrs ago, and can be updated graphically and a few gameplay tweaks here and there - why not?
The game finds new fans in the younger generation, gives the devs and publisher that there's actually an audience - BOOM - a sequel gets the go ahead.
Get Terry Crews next /s - tacked-on celeb cameos reek of a dud game. I'm sure xbox people will lap up the generic, tried and tested gameplay.
Sony should buy all of those and BluePoint. They are growing into a fantastic studio.
Owned by EA
RangerWalk - I do, while its runs smooth - that can be denied - it all looks the same. Light hits every surface the same, plastic looking generic artstyle. If this is the best ms can do, they have a looong way to go.
I'm a huge PS fan and an xbox hater - this is well known. It doesn't stop the fact this is as ham-fisted, mediocre, generic as a game can get.
But at least you're seeing gameplay.
You're hilarious, the handheld market is very competitive. How many have failed and how many have succeeded? And now we have mobile gaming - which some analysts predicted would be the end of console gaming.
Sony could've supported the Vita better, but they pushed hard on PS4 after the momentum gained with PS3.
Their handhelds still sold well, just not as good as the competition.
Amazing gameplay, graphics, story and most of all - fun. Unlocking and upgrading gadgets and suits never felt a chore.
100% correct - padding games out to make them seem longer is my main gripe with gaming these days.
The voiceover work is atrocious, when she says "Out Of my way" - it's just so badly delivered. This has cringe written all over it. I'm glad the usual supsects are excited, it's been a long time between drinks that's for sure.
CaptainCook - "CYBERPUNK 2077, it isn't going to revolutionize the FPS genre" - that's the correct quote.
What I was saying about DS is the gameplay may not be so radically different that we haven't seen or experienced similar mechanics already. Both games are hyped to the heavens and both games are already getting 'concern' articles.
Kojima claims to have created a new genre - we'll have to wait and see, I'll be th...
I really can't understand how some people aren't excited for Death Stranding - even if the gameplay doesn't reinvent the wheel, it will still be better than most games on the market. Same goes for CYBERPUNK 2077, it isn't going to revolutionize the FPS genre - still looking amazing in every sense of the word.
I'd expect nothing less.
DaDrunken is back for another round of 'I'm not feeling Death Stranding'. When will you get sick of repeating the same concerns in every DS article?
Kojima was highlighting a quirky game mechanic - that's all. The stealth elements will be similar to other games. It maybe a little different depending on the enemies, BT's, Homo-Demons, Yellow Hazmat Suit guy.
There's obviously threats in the open world, as he's leaving Ludens Fan...
All the gameplay nuances and mechanics in the MGS series are 2nd to none. What about all the unique boss battles throughout the series?
Come on mate - your comment is a massive stretch.
There's of one doing anything meaningful - Norman Reedus, the rest supplies 3D scans of their faces.
Fool me once? Just forget all his other games. MGSV wasn't his best game, so lets crucify him.
I'd still prefer MGSV over sequels full of 'oh-so-exciting-over-the-t op-ser-pieces' - that are no more than yearly reskins.
I'll take one of those thank you very much.
Whoa - using words like blindly, stupid, fanboy - I do see which fan base that truly applies to?
RARE - is one of ms premier devs, they have a long history of successful ips - yh, I would buy their games.
Especially how enthusiastically it was pushed by Phil and co. Seems more of the same old lines from ms - over promise and under deliver.
