I think it's more confusion/disbelief as to why someone would even bother?
Obscure - HAHAHA - they've always had money, Sony paved the way for others on how you enter the console market. And they've still failed on numerous occasions.
Greenberg should've left when Mattrick did, he's a dinosaur full of hit air and inflated expectations. How any can take him seriously is beyond me, just shows the I intelligence of those who listen to him.
You already have G5 for $1 - TLOU2 will destroy G5 in every way. It's not even a contest.
Imalwaysright - maybe the fact that they believe they're in the right. Like I said it happens so be it, it doesn't happen so be it? I don't think so, the same band of nuffies will be shouting once again from the rooftops - CrossPlay, CrossPlay why can't we have CrossPlay.
Rage about something else - pack of spuds.
Mr_Writer85 - It would be a problem because the game suxs. It isn't a good game, the community had decided to drip it's support
STOP, NO, WE HAVE A WAY - CrossPlay, pets cover our tracks and shitty business practices with CrossPlay.
100% they'll be - it won't be liked by everyone. There's nothing wrong with that, you can't please everyone. I'm going all in, I have a fair idea of what to expect - and I like what I've seen.
gangsta - That's the exact reason I don't think crossplay is needed, if a game is good it'll find a healthy, active community - regardless of how many gamers have access to it.
It doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the righteous song an dance about crossplay. If it happens - so be it, but if it doesn't - so be it, or will the same advocates cry foul?
Lets all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Its always been this way and it was never a problem. Sony had CrossPlay with PC years ago, it ain't a killer feature.
It ain't a problem, unless people decide to make it one. Which apparently they intend to.
Is it really something worth worrying about? Is it a negative to keep harping on about?
I don't care - what you talking about? If a game is shit, it won't find a decent player base. Now if that same game was CrossPlay - by pooling everyone together, it gets a decent player count.
But it's still a shit game.
What makes a shit game? Hit detection, bad net code, shitty PTW MT's, bad map design - CrossPlay ain't gonna fix that.
No - no they can't. It looks absolutely horrible, a PS2 title I can understand - but current gen, no chance.
Thats the end game of ms, just watch the recent Jim Sterling vid - MT's and ms are best mates. gamepass is the true Trojan Horse - not the future I want.
Gears wasn't a success when you break it down. It had the worst retail launch in it's history in the UK - a big xbox market.
Only had 3 million players across 2 platforms, 2 game launchers and was only $1 or free if you'd brought a GPU in the last 3 month's or so.
How that could be a success is beyond me - regardless of ms coining the term "gamepass mega-hit", are they 12?
Unfortunately - Like IGN, they are considered he voice of the masses. When in reality neither of them write or perpetuate what the gamer actually thinks.
gangsta - Like G5, Halo and Forza?
Don't buy it - use a little critical thought. Would you play that garbage on gamepass just because it was there?
I wouldn't.
I'm hopeful for a traditional style trailer, what we've seen so far has been great of course - cut scenes and gameplay chunks.
It's generating a fair amount of hype, I think they would be happy with how they've announced it.
Sony will get your money either way, they stagger their releases and don't just do their load at Christmas. It makes sense to give Death Stranding a free launch window, being a new ip and all.
ms and Greenberg have constantly overhyped their product. I brought Sony into this because ms had to do was follow the roadmap laid out by Sony.
They had the money, they've always had the money. Only now 3 gens into their console foray they've worked out they need to invest in new games.
Give me a break their hands been forced, I can tell you right now they really didn't want to. There's no guarantee they'll get a return on their inv...
