I'm waiting to hear that in a darkened auditorium - just like how they announced PORTAL2.

Why not? They're obviously a very talented studio and Sony is a very ambitious, trusting publisher.

Seems a perfect fit.

Nothing better I'd say, do you support multiple sports teams?

The appeal of Sony's exclusives (1st, 2nd and 3rd party) and quality hardware is why I'll support PlayStation.

Was GOW a Kickstarter title - that has a massive influence buddy. Shenmue in any form would not have got without the fans.

Why is that hard to understand?

gangsta - you got a lot in that comment. It's the game the fans love, it was a Kickstarter project - it should what the fans want.

I'm going to come clean mate - I've never played a Shenmue game, even though I had a Japanese Draamcast.

Wasn't my style of game back then.

But - the fans have been asking for a sequel forever, and they got the sequel they wanted. It plays and feels exactly how they remember.

To bring Shenmue into modern gaming would be too jarring - they made the right choice.

It exists because of fans and saying he's glad it exists is a slap in the face.

It's scores like his that scares publishers away from releasing games that almost definitely won't sell in the millions.

I'm not saying every game should get a pass, just you should have a fair idea of what to expect from a game which clearly won't start too far from the formula that made the first 2 so popular.

We are talking about a games mechanics that the fans of the series loved - why would you change it?

And your quote left out "beloved formula".

Nice way to turn a statement regarding one game into a blanket statement. Not very sharp are you.

Of course it has - it a sequel to an established series, any major deviation from it's beloved formula would alienate fans.

Hahaha - they don't need to resort to such measures, it will fly off the shelves.

Crimson - in Aus there's only a few places to buy physical music, movies and games from these days. There's no rental for movies and games. It's looking pretty grim for bricks and mortar stores.

Google just wanted a quick buck and tried fooling gamers into believing their BS.

As much as I hate ms - at least they've been in gaming for a decent amount of time and have grown their studios, their customers could have some decent software (ga...

Imortus_san - They had a few VR releases in 2018 and also had strong support from 3td party - you don't become the market leader without providing games for your audience.

Also in 2018 Sony had some big hitters and same goes for 2019 - again, you don't become the market leader without providing games for your audience.

Sony took a long time to get PS3 back on track, they won't let it happen again. They'll be going hard as soon as it launches.

Herman in charge of WWS and Shu looking after indies - the future looks rosey indeed.

Still not sold on Jim Ryan, but I said the same thing about Andrew House - and he did all right.
