Orionsangel - 'the game was very story-driven' - or did you miss that part of his comment. It was never sold or marketed as an action game, NT were very open about what they were trying to achieve.
I can understand your buyers remorse, but the game is good at what it does.
Tankbusta40 - showing his intelligence once again. Get ready to be disappointed.
Days Gone, TLOU2 and Days Gone - nice way for Sony to close out a generation.
What will you be playing? CRACKDOWN 3 straight to GamePass pap. I know which system I'd rather support.
Imagine what they think of BFV lol.
Loktai - that's because the tech is new, the old way of making games usually translate to a fun experience in VR.
All media evolves.
Krib - you probably own Kinect and its successor (I feel sorry for you) and you know it never worked as promised.
Most of the on stage demos were faked
Gunstar and Krib - But Kinect was? Shows how forward thinking and dishonest MS are. Kinect never worked as advertised, at least PSVR is a good piece of kit.
DaDrunkenJester - so what we've seen is the game? Looks like it might get old quick. But that's subjective, absolutely - MS isn't showing much faith in it by putting it on GamePass day on.
Or are they just trying to make GamePass seem worth it?
Tread carefully xbox owners, you'll be getting straight to DVD quality games before you know it.
You know something ain't right when a celebrity is needed. Just be safe in the knowledge it'll be available on GamePass day one.
Now that's showing confidence in your product.
All the money in the world doesn't equate to a successful exclusive, it takes talent and freedom to express that talent. ms has had deep pockets for a long time, it didn't happen over night. And look what they have to show for it, sweet FA.
King_Noctis - all 3rd party titles apart from Forza which at the time of release was probably closer to 2nd party. ms never even made their big guns Halo, GoW they were all created by 3rd parties.
So SierraGuy is right.
Krib - at any stage has the x been sold out? Hard to get? Awaiting stock? Didn't think so.
Sonys narrative had never been all about the Pro, it's been about and continues to be about PlayStation and PS4.
We heard not long ago that one of ms N4G faithful had only now upgraded to the x. That seems strange to me, surely all the vocal ms supporters would have an x at launch or around them.
Guess that's why they're easy to ...
Why? People love Bethesda games, not me personally - I'm very vocal in my distaste for them and what they stand for. They're one of the worst devs out there, this just proves there even worse than most people thought.
ms and hyperbole go hand in hand, fact is they can't give these away. Basically a new console gen, that's how much difference there is between it and its brother, and it's never been sold out - ANYWHERE.
A fantastic machine in design, build qaulity and power - yet at any stage of its life you could buy one without any hassle.
It's done absolutely nothing to close the ever widening gap in sales.
Just more spin by ms
But did you enjoy the titles? If so it's a good month for others, it's not the end of the world if you miss out this month.
Technically everything can be played or viewed with PSVR (cinema mode), but games need to be specifically made for PSVR to have the full 3D depth and immersion of VR.
Might be time for a new hobby mate, the next 10yrs won't be any different. Is there anything coming out that your looking forward to?
MrSec84 - all of your points are correct, but it was still down on the momentum generated from PS2. And it was only that momentum that kept it as strong as it was.
MS came out punching when they released the 360. PS3 was expensive, hard to develop for and had a lot of negativity from the press and developers.
It's Indies for you then? Surely you dabble with AAA games.
They should have looked how Sony bounced back with the PS3 and all the negativity surrounding it. Great exclusives.
Keep that positive spin going until next gen journos.
The reality is MS have a stink to them they just can't shake, they've been outperformed gen after gen. And there's going to be a sudden positive change coming?
I don't think so.
