Still better than any other new IP from the competition. Personally, I've always liked the way the game looked. Not sold on the lead character, but that might change. I got my Collectors Edition on preorder.

Persona 5 showed restraint? Where did it show restraint, let alone 'so much'. Did you even play P5, everything about it was OTT - which made it brilliant.

Much like how GOT has the potential to be, looking like and absolute masterpiece.

chris235 - cool story mate, you get to tell us in every Death Stranding article prior and after release.

I'd like a 2019 release date, but I'm more than happy to wait until 2020.

Even you know that ain't true, Sony will dominate as they always do. And rightly so.

For Kojima to be impressed enough to use DECIMA over all the other Sony proprietary engines on offer, says DECIMA is something special. For KojiPro to impress the creators of DECIMA is a BIG deal.

It just makes waiting for Death Stranding that much harder, I know it's going to be a beltingly good game.
Can't wait.

It was in reference to the fact that not even xbox owners have confidence in CD3 - even if it 'sounds like a blast to play' - 'can't wait to try this'. Seems strange - there's not indication of anyone actually purchasing this game.

I suppose GamePass subscribers will play it week 1, MS will gather some numbers that mean nothing and shout them from the roof top.

The MS hyperbole continues.

*on GamePass - that's how most CD3 comment ends.

GOTY contender for sure - everything about this game looks stellar.

Euphemism - Toshiba make some great products that only release in Japan. I think the pairing with MS was a last ditch attempt to get HDDVD some traction. I'm fairly sure it released before BluRay. But BluRay had so much studio support that it was going to be a massacre when they were both on the market.

In the end Sony actually sold the total distribution and manufacturing rights of The Cell processor to Toshiba.

By victory do you how many bullets fired in a given month? or how many miles driven in a Mustang?

MS ain't winning anything, they perpetual losers in every field apart from OS. They have a funk they just can't shake.

Eurogamer loves that MS money too, no 400% zooming in on xbox titles.

MS stunk waaay before the ones launch, that just solidified it. Why people still listen and trust them is beyond me.

2706d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

Not if they don't support them, not every game will do Halo/Gears/Forza numbers. Look what happened to Quantum Break, my understanding is quite a few xbox owners enjoyed it. Had its flaws but most new ips do, they get ironed out in the sequel.

Dave zero - Sony don't push development on masse to the next gen just to buff out the launch window. Why do you think Sony still have 5 potentially HUGE exclusives coming in the next 6 - 18 months?

And if you look you'll see there is quite a difference in power between the original consoles, MS just forced the unfortunate early xbox one adopters to buy Kinect as well.

Come on mate, you're not even trying now.

Dave zero- He never said they developed Bluetooth, only that their controllers have had that tech since 2007 - MS had their customers buying Double A's.

Sony had BluRay because they helped develop it, it was also the reason the PS3 released a little late. MS had their customers buy a redundant HDDVD add on, another win for MS.

Does that clear a few things up for you?

Yes - I agreed with his snide remark and threw one back of my own. PS4 gamers get the luxury of choice when it comes to SP and MP games.

2706d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course majority of PS4 gamers play single player games, it's the only platform that truly caters to AAA single player games. AND they get to play pretty much any MP game available.

I was impressed at first, but the more I see - the more I don't like it. It looks clunky and the AI is atrociously bad.

I can see it being hyped to hell by IGN and other crooked sites, but ultimately it'll be a soulless experience.

I hope I'm wrong, always room for new and enjoyable games.

It look like its worst feature. Hype is supposed to increase as you get closer to launch. Can't say that's the case here. Almost gonna call DOA.
