Trailers are usually about 2 minutes knuckles, and you've never heard the terms - they showed all the good stuff in the trailer - or - I don't need to see the movie, the trailer showed enough.
The point being - can you really knock a game on the head because a few plot points they don't agree with are present.
Boils down to adults having a hiss fit - its pathetic. They're free to do whatever they want.
In the end they...
Nintendo created Mario by Nintendo, Halo was acquired - just a little different.
Strange the company with the most money takes the least amount of risks.
Not good for gamers, not good for gaming.
Nah - your numbers are off, that would be equivalent of seeing 25% of the game. Which no one giving weight to the leaks has.
What's funny about 'people not liking it' - what did they really expect? What they've seen - is it really that bad? I don't think so, people just like to complain and be heard.
TLOU2 looks to have the BEST gameplay and actually pushing the genre forward.
Quick question - Does anyone watch movie trailers? But then still watch the movie, even though most of it has been shown in the trailer. And normally you still enjoy the movie.
TLOU2 has leaks - the people that have seen them, don't like what's being shown - but does that mean you can't enjoy the rest of the game?
People are also getting knotty for no reason other than its not the story they want told. Druckman has an agenda boo-hoo.
The game is over 2 BluRays - there's probably close to 6hrs or so of cut-scenes.
I'd wait for the final product before accusing people of downplaying the leaks.
No
And likely GOTG...
Deep - If your that easily put off by someone's agenda ( as you put it), you're the other side of that agenda. Move on - who cares?
I've got a mate who's similar - loved the first game, but won't buy TLOU2. I ask him why? He says - "Its woke" - How so? - "I don't know, people have said so and I trust their opinion.
He doesn't know any of the spoilers - just heard 'its woke'.
I told him...
When will it end haha, by no metric, in any reality did ms win ANYTHING this gen.
They must see potential for fooling people into parting with their money - they've normally scuttled out of industries they can't monopolise.
Not if ms sells a few consoles. Which they will - Sony will just sell more.
Its been talked about more than new games on a certain console. The other barely mentions it.
I wonder which one will sell more?
Let's see how pointless my statement (not argument) is.
And going off the last 4 generations I'm also confident who'll continue to deliver new games.
Well thought out and fairly well articulated comment.
You have the right to disagree - but you'd be wrong.
New games clearly are the most important to any console - especially at launch.
But oy one company has that view, generations start and stop - they don't blend together.
That's what a PC is for.
Really? Because I've just shelled $800Au to buy a next gen console.
I'd prefer new games, and the manufacturer of said console to have that as their main priority.
No hate - just common sense.
Its also nice having a console thats supported from start to finish.
That's only concern when I purchase a new console.
It should be paramount to supply your customers with new games.
Not highlight how many old games you can play whilst not announcing new ones.
Like I said PC is heaven for people that want to play games from 10yrs ago.
It's not an 'important feature' - it's a feature. But lets put a greater emphasis on it. If that's what some people want out of next gen consoles, jump on the PC. You'll be in heaven.
I want new games, new experiences, new stories, new characters - is that too much to ask for?
Just wish the narrative would die, looking forward to the day when it's an afterthought.
Maybe ms has to make games that appeal to broad range of people. Just a thought.
Your first sentence was enough.
Uncharted 2 - It set the tone for a company and a generation.
shaggy - Thats Kazunori's choice, he's a car fanatic. I want another Moto Toon GP - never going to happen though.
