Nah Uncharted 4 is the only masterpiece on PS4. Bloodborne would have been a masterpiece if it wasn't for the awful framerate, long loading times and the horrible Chromatic Aberration filter that make the entire game look like shit and cause severe eye strain.

And yes it's one of the worst console generations. Xbox One failed which in turn affected their game output, Wii U flopped so extremely hard that Nintendo had to leap into the 9th gen and release a whole new console while Sony has just been sitting on their ass...

So Sony have won the console sales "war" in what will be remembered as one of the worst console generations of all time and despite being on top they still have an overall greatly inferior platform compared to their main competitors and show no interest in trying to catch up or improve. MS did not do this for maximum profit as they are certainly losing money on this with all the R&D costs just to make a product aimed at a small amount of people, and even offering their tech to other platforms without even forcing their brand on it is just amazing. MS are the real heroes here.

No, not that I know of at least. We had one PlayStation Experience event back in 2003 and that's pretty much it.
I can only speak for Norway, but for us E3 is THE biggest and best gaming event of the year that everyone is looking forward to the most with highest expectations. Gamescom is indeed a little less spectacular since a lot of the stuff shown there is often "old" news.

Bullshit. PS4/Pro and One/X 8th gen. Switch is 9th gen. Switch is not a mid-gen upgrade of the Wii U, it's a completely and fundamentally different system and it doesn't even play the Wii discs and is incompatible with Wii U's accessories. All you people saying otherwise is plain and simple wrong, and that's how it is. It's non debatable.
Next gen consoles probably won't have optical disc drives so the BC would only work with digital titles. They could alternatively sell an external USB optical disc drive for physical BC games.
Too bad the console with most sales is also the worst platform on the market. Such a hollow victory for people who believe there is a console war.
