Yeah, its fantastic. Great for the environment too! Sony's mindset of locking their exclusives behind a inferior hardware paywall is just archaic and wrong. Nintendo is somewhat guilty of this too but at least their console does something other platforms doesn't offer.
Sony is going to have a desperate fight for survival in the gaming business in the future against giants like MS, Google and Amazon. They could always take the easy way out and go third party and probably be even more profitable that way though.
Your ghetto writing is cringe to read and make you look mentally retarded. Anyways..
Funny how PS fanboys keep saying that MS/Phil is a liar over and over and yet they prove them wrong every time by actually delivering on their promises. Here's a small list of some of the things they has promised the past few years:
Xbox BC - DELIVERED
X360 BC - DELIVERED
Elite controller - DELIVERED
Adaptive controller - DELIVERED
...
To be considered a flop it actually has to sell bad but it was the exact opposite and it was a crazy success. The majority of people who played the game loved it too and are happy with the constant stream of content updates. I'm sorry you are too stupid to understand how basic things work.
Microsoft's latest exclusive scored better than Sony's latest btw. Now go cry in the corner.
Anyone else noticed that you can hardly go a day without seeing some exciting news or rumors coming out from MS/Xbox including some real industry shaking and future defining announcements almost every month or so while the PlayStation platform is a literal snore fest, and the last thing that happened worth writing about was them unwillingly bowing into cross-play for certain games and offering paid name change and even that thing turned out to be a disaster.
Sadly though, the only reason you need a PS4 is because Sony doesn't give gamers a choice on where to play their games and therefore forces people with decent PCs to play these exclusives with low resolution and framerate on a terrible console. PS4 is just a unnecessary plastic paywall, a waste of natural resources and nothing more.
MS opening their games to PC is one of the best things that happened this gen.
Blizzard - “While we love the idea of bringing our players together across platforms, we do not have any plans to implement cross-platform gameplay for Diablo at this time,”
It's not happening.
Ahead? Sony is so far behind on this area with their abysmal data centers that they will never even be considered a competitor.
Because Google and MS cloud streaming is on a whole other level than PS Now, and Sony doesn't let you stream games to most devices. You can't compare them.
It's not just your opinion, you're stating a fact. Apart from the amount of exclusives (this gen only) and VR, Xbox is superior to PlayStation in every single way.
No. Wii U is in third place. Xbox is second.
What a lie. Titanfall 2 has consistently had a higher active player base on Xbox compared to both PS4 and PC combined, and sometimes as much as 5 times as many players on Xbox vs PS4 despite there being twice as many PS4 consoles out there compared to Xbox.
Truth. Wii U was Nintendo's 8th gen console and Nintendo jump started 9th gen with the Switch after they pulled the plug on Wii U.
They never turned down Sony. Sony literally never approached MS about cross-play.
@Majin-vegeta. FAIL. You linked me the same old crappy article and forum post PS fanboys always use to "prove" that Sony both wanted and asked MS to do cross-play last gen, and again you all fail miserably. NOWHERE does it state that Sony asked MS to do cross-play and it just confirms that MS just had a no cross-play stance last gen and there are zero evidence anywhere that Sony wanted cross-play with them. Even if MS had an open policy last gen, there is no guarantee that Sony woul...
What a nice made up story you just pulled out of your ass there. Sony literally never asked MS to do cross-play last gen and Xbox marketshare had nothing to do with their stance on cross-play.
As usual Sony fanboys only read the headline and nothing else before commenting in full retard defense mode.
Ditto. I was really disappointed that this wasn't the case. Oh well, maybe next time!
While Sony is limiting themselves to between 60 and 150 million customer max by only focusing on one closed-off console, MS streaming solution can potentially reach billions of gamers on all platforms so it's extremely likely that they will take the lead next gen if streaming takes off. Console sales is not a measure for success anymore and it hasn't been for the majority of this generation.
You're*, But no, I'm not. Sony isn't owning anything. PC gaming is bigger, Phone gaming is bigger, and with DS and Switch, Nintendo is bigger too. And that's just speaking hardware and software.
Sony has nothing that can even remotely compare to the power of Amazon, Google and Microsoft's cloud services.
