Wow, was Fatal Frame seriously scary enough to beat out Amnesia? If so, I'm mad for missing out.

For those of you who are worried about the length, I will let you know that Skyrim was beat in 2 hours 16 minutes and 10 seconds:

Just like said before me, open-world games are what YOU make of it.

Probably so. I never had the chance to play it. :( I've heard many people say the same.

I've only played three out of the five listed (on PC), but I agree; The Darkness 2, Sleeping Dogs, and The Walking Dead (so far), are all great games. Out of those three, my expectations for Sleeping Dogs was the lowest and I would say it was my favorite!

I really enjoyed the demo. As a big original XCOM fan, they appeared to have done it justice.

Disagree? I will never understand some people on N4G ... you don't want the mod tools to be released? How do you think BF2 was ever thought of? That's right, it was based off a mod for BF1942 called Desert Combat.

/sigh ... then release your "Too hard for anybody but a DICE dev to handle, but the truth is we don't want to be outdone and be able to charge for everything you play" mod tools. Let some fans make it on Frostbite 2.

Only to the ignorant.

After re-reading your post, I think I was a little off touch. Don't mind me...fun day at work and immaturely found someone to take it out on. :P

But, with that said, what I say is still true (below the first paragraph).

I'm sorry that simple stuff is hard for you. You must need help making dinner too...just pop in a HungryMan dinner, because OBVIOUSLY it is BETTER than taking the little time to learn how to cook basic meals. (if this was too difficult to understand, considering your "problems", I am referring to simple computer skills).

Now the "not such an a-hole" answer. The excuse against basic computer skills is getting old. It takes less than 10 minutes to learn ...

Make sure you listen to the NPCs. If you know your movies, you might catch some references. Near the beginning there is one that had me actually laughing. Damn good mod so far!

Exactly how I feel.

First off, I love the game! With that said, I have to say that, to me, the loot seems watered down. There will be times when I receive a green/blue on consecutive normal mob kills. Why is this bad you might ask? I feel that it directly affects the Trading Post (economy). Go ahead and check what your shiny new green/blue goes for on the TP. I would bet my paycheck that atm it sales for no more than roughly 10% over the vendor price (I am being nice because most are only 1c over the vendor pric...

I love GreenManGaming! ... I got Sleeping Dogs during Pre-order for $30. If I didn't have Guild Wars 2 and still needing to finish Sleeping Dogs, I would definitely buy.

For those interested, after a code, you get Borderlands 2 for $36 (Steam code provided).

I remember Soldier of Fortune II being crazy violent. I think there were 26 individual spots on the body you could shoot for different effects/dismemberments. Guys trying to hold their guts in.

I would also say that if you were lucky enough to get your hands on a copy of the bootlegged full version of Thrill Kill, it was also pretty violent and gruesome. That game turned so many heads at EA that they decided to not publish it. The devs bootlegged the game.

It will help with the lore but not a necessity. The game starts 200 years in the future, so it does not continue a "story" per-say. For those who have played the originals, they will enjoy seeing how places look different/same. Remember, you don't know what you don't know, so if you haven't played the originals, you won't notice references when they may be plain as day. ;)

Loving the game so far but this is this article old news?...my Steam version has been on patch 1.4 for a couple days now.

Could not resist anymore. I gave in and bought it...the download is 3.4gb. Gonna go grab the son's 360 controller and get ready for some racing. (I wish I had a steering wheel) :(
