You're now counting DLC as exclusives? Wow, and Dance Central, too???
OK, bro, OK
LOL, they have exactly THREE new unannounced games shown at their conference, out of $hit ton CGI trailers they showed. How that can be considered anything except to much CGI is beyond me.
Moreover most of the content they showed was multi-platform, while Sony focused on things exclusive for their console. Doesn't help either that most of what Microsoft talked about stuff we already knew going into the show. What happened to also those surprises and new IPs you guys were ...
How are you counting 3rd party? When have they ever counted? Admit it man, Microsoft failed to deliver on all those unannounced games and exclusive they promised in the lead up to E3. Almost 80% of their show was stuff we already knew about and the same can be said of Sony, so neither of them edge each other out in announcements. If you REALLY wanted to count 3rd party games, then it would Sony who won because everyone they showed was actual gameplay. Over half of Microsoft's 3rd party an...
What are you talking about, guy? What exclusives? The best game shown this E3, Inside, is not exclusive and I doubt Ori will stay exclusive either. They showed Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive and Halo Collection(all of which we already knew about) and this is great to you? Talk about 2014? Microsoft game line-up for 2014 is just as weak, if not weaker, than PlayStation's is. Neither of them have anything amazing coming in the way of exclusive games. I don't get this attitude that MS...
i need to know the name of song in this trailer!!
Arg..MUSIC!!!
LOL, how are most of their games coming this year? The literally spelled out "This is showcase of games in our 2015 and beyond portfolio" before they even began announcing anything exclusive.
Literally the only exclusives they have confirmed for release this Fall are Sunset Overdrive, Halo Collection and Forza. How in the hell do you wrap that up as "a good percentage of their games are coming this year"? Did you even watch the conference? It was 90% multi...
When did I say that the PS4 could run this game as well as a god-tier PC?? Did you not read the statement, "Would be nice if they got this game to run at 1080p/60fps"? Where in that statement did you see me say, PS4 is going to run this game better than PC OR see me say that PS4 settings would be equivalent to Ultra?? I simply said it "would be nice".
Why does there always have to be that one PC gamer that makes the rest of us look so bad?? I have a reall...
P5, pwease..
Would be pretty great if they somehow got this game to run at 1080p/60fps. Most PCs can't do that with this game; need a really beefy rig with god-tier specs to keep steady 60 @ 1080p/Ultra. Interesting to find out just how well they optimized this for the console.
Is title pc exclusive or has it moved multi-platform? Also, does this game have any sort of release scheduling at all?? Kind of hard to get excited about it when I know almost nothing about it.
Definitely looks better, I can tell you that much. Now, if we could get a texture pack and an upgrade in facial animations, character(Aiden) poly counts and better AF on buildings and cars then we could have something here. Don't forget to completely overhaul the physics engine and bring back the volumetric fog, high-quality shaders on cars, explosions and also up the pathetic draw distance(this is on ALL platforms). Do all that and then I might forget how horrifically downgraded this tit...
Game is going to bring all systems(PC, PS4 and Xbox One) to their knees. Probably going to be one of the most demanding of this generation. Can't wait..
You're seriously telling me Sony hasn't had time to rewrite some code for launch of these features in: the years of making this console, all last year promoting the console and now 7 months past it's well-recieved launch?? Is that your argument, because if so it's a pretty weak one. I'm a big PlayStation guy, have been all my life, but there is no denying that they are behind on features big-time. The fact that people justify their being behind and point to the PS3 as a re...
One word: Disappointing...
If there's one thing severely lacking on PS4, it's got to be features. Features, mind you, that have been on my PS3 for years. Honestly, I don't know why Sony chose to release their next-generation console with no customizable themes(one of the coolest features of the PS3), no mp3 playback, no Social media apps(something that even the Vita has), no file organization and suspend/resume(something they said would be there at launch!)
It really is astonishing, to be honest. Plenty of news about possibilities within their conference and leaks of information about upcoming games(Project Beast and GG new IP) yet they have remained dead silent. Honestly,we know absolutely nothing about their conference because they haven't even mentioned it in conversion/interviews.
Really am impressed with how tight-lipped they have been. Let the hype train grow, I guess.
I honestly don't know why many people are speculating as to whether this is an exclusive or not. Sony is giving funds to SCEJ(Sony Studio Japan) to co-develop this game with From Software, which is exactly what they did when they made Demon Souls. Sony is not going to personally fund a game that's freaking multi-platform, especially given their financial situation as of today. Whatever funds they have for games will be wholly dedicated to first-party exclusive titles i.e Project Beast...
I believe you're confusing what I said as fact than what it really is, which is majority perception(when speaking of the PC gaming community, of course). I think maybe a handful of comments from people on the major PC gaming websites have been lenient on Watch Dogs' visuals, while the rest are overwhelmingly harsh, albeit justified, on them. This game is clearly a let-down, in both graphics and story(this one being the one that hurts the most) You can supp this game up all you want wi...
Very well said..
That pretty much takes the cake for best comment I've heard in a LONG time.
He is reviewing the PS4 version correct? When he started to admonish the graphics with "crisp high-res textures, detailed characters and models" accompanied with "charming effects and renderings of explosions, flames and smoke" I would have sworn that he had played the PC version of the game.
With the game being 1600x900(a 'true' 16:9 aspect ratio if you get the tech joke) I'm struggling to believe this game has high resolution textures of any ...
12.31.2015 is a placeholder date because they don't have a concrete date yet in 2015. If I had to take a guess, I would say late October or early November is when it launches. That's when most people do their shopping and I expect Sony to capatilize on that with their biggest title launch( I'm assuming) of the year.
