Downgrade is pretty severe; such a shame because I was so pleasantly shocked by it when it was revealed.
Both this and Halo underwhelmed, quite surprisngly. I don't know if it's the video feed I'm watching or what but they both lack graphically something I expected both to excel at, if nothing else. Gameplay wise, BF will be what players of any DICE game can expect and the same likewise for Halo 5 and it's players.

Go check the Minimum spec requirements for any Rift game or better yet, check their recommended specs for PC just to simply run the hardware. After you're done, come back and damage control edit that post. Then press Ctrl+W ;)

Microsoft, essentially, announced a incredibly expensive STREAMING device that you can put on your head, except it only works with Xbox games and doesn't offer the slightest possibility of crossover PC games because of the incompatibility of the Xbox hardware(power wise). All of the Xbox fans are jumping for joy but ever since Morpheus was announced they've credited VR as being stupid and a waste of money. The hypocrisy overfloweth...
Not really seeing how this news spells doom and gloom for Morpheus, especially since Oculus for Xbox One is simply a streaming component and not a dedicated gaming device with software designed for it specifically. I don't know about you, but that's a startling confession and would seemingly be all over the internet, possibly serving as a strong disincentive to NOT buy tickets to their E3 theater showings around the country. OT: This game, thankfully, is looking to be so much more than just a simple remaster. Can't wait to pop this in; looks like good ol' platforming, R&C fun. If you ask me, both of these consoles need to have a better platforming presence, instead of just relying on Indie Developers to fill that gap for you.
Hopefully all of Microsoft's conference is all for games coming Fall 2015, while most of 2016 is left as a barren wasteland just like this year. Cheers!

That's what you hope will happen, but in reality and logically speaking, this game will come to PS4, which further adds to the argument of why should people buy an Xbox when most of their exclusives go to other platforms besides Gears, Halo and Forza. Where it not coming at all, Phil would deemed this a "console exclusive" but he didn't, because he knows that he has no control over what SE does with the game after the duration of the contract is over.

The only differences being that Sony is the only one of the two companies to have released new IPs, 3 of those franchises you listed haven't released a game this generation and that Xbox will have released 2 Halo titles and 3 Forza titles within the span of 2 years.

Only problem I have with the article is the underestimation of the sales gap. Sony was at 20.2 milion consoles SOLD-THRU at the beginning of the year. That is from Sony themselves. Just being logical and ignoring all loyalty that I have to Playstation, it's not hard to imagine that they have sold at least 1 million more consoles by now, especially when you take into consideration their NPD numbers have been really good so far this year and worldwide numbers dwarf those. If all you need to be content is Halo, Gears, Forza, Forza Horion(because it's soo different) and some Fable then you should just sale that imaginary Playstation you have. Give it to someone who would like to play more than 3 franchises all the time.

I know you're trolling but being as you are seemingly a die-hard Halo fan, you should REALLY be concerned about Star Wars: Battlefront and COD launching at the same time as the once great Halo franchise.
